Quality over quantity every day of the week.

Unfortunately, a football club needs both.

Hopefully we'll be looking at the out of contract list.

Great window from a financial perspective. Decent window if you're looking at it purely from players, 3 transfers in is quite low, but if it's being done to balance the books, I get it, and BBM is holding up his end of the bargain.

Because of……no.5 Ian Rush, obviously.

We've absolutely slashed the wage bill and we still appear to be competitive so in that respect it's been a good window.
The one signing we've seen so far has been excellent, and there are good reasons to be hopeful about the other 2.
Is the squad still a bit light? will injuries catch up with us? will the young players be able to maintain their level of performance?
We will know over the coming months, and the answers to those questions is whether it has been a good enough window.
So far the performance of the academy players is making it a good window.
The ideal situation going forward is to have the bulk of the squad come from the academy, meaning this can be added to with fewer, higher-quality additional signings rather than having to sign an entire squad on the transfer market.
Of course that only works if the academy players are at a high enough standard - so either we've lucked out completely in that respect or some credit is due to the club in getting our academy up to a far higher standard

Think we could have offloaded Robinson, and bought another striker in...who actually scores goals.
We don't seem to have one of those at the moment.

Bit unfair on a player who got double figures last season in a God awful side.

yes, for the great crime of failing to score in the 153 minutes of league football he's had this season.
That's not even 2 games worth. And in that time he's still getting opportunities
Re: POLL #0004 - Good or bad window
Outs: good window except losing O’Dowda
Returning loans: Wintle & Joel bonus points
Ins: positive but a couple short in my opinion
Continue to stay in contention and another couple of quality additions in January would be great.

Bar a left back, we have two players for every position. Osho, Ng, Turnbull and Robertson aren't automatic starters.
Left back is a concern but I suspect Kpakio will go there and if we did sign one, what do you do about Bagan?

No I think he will give Giles a chance. Otherwise why didn't BBM loan him out?
