Osho

Despite the rash penalty challenge, which will probably cloud many people's judgement, I thought he played rather well after that.

He showed some nice, incisive passing, took the ball out out of defence on a number of occasions, and pushed forward with it well.

When Lawlor is fit again, I'd have a central defence of him and Osho.

There were a few times during the game whereby the ball was played across to Fish, and whilst the passes weren't exactly to Fish's feet, he made them look like they were misplaced passes, when in fact they weren't.
It was his slowness in anticipation and movement that made decent passes look sloppy.

He was ok in possession but it's such a poor penalty to give away.

Him and fish were dragged around all over the place first half, as a team we didn't defend very well.

It's a shame Lawlor didn't play, with the way Bradford press his ability to actually pass through the lines would have been useful. You saw Rubin completely free a few times when we could actually break through it well.

With how Bradford attacked in the first half though I don't think Lawlor would have fared much better Out of possession. Was a tough match against an opponent bang in form and well up for it. Credit where it's due.

Will be interesting to see when fully fit who BBM prefers. I don't think Fish has done much wrong at all this season and in many matches has probably been the better defender.

Osho did well. Most of our problems started in midfield.

I agree. We never got to grips with midfield.
What the hell is going on with Robertson?
We were told he'd finally be available for this game, but he didn't even make the match-day squad!

Osho did OK, although he isn't the tallest centre back. Defensively, our midfield was dire yesterday.

I liked that when in possession he did look and often did, want to press forward into midfield rather than another aimless sideways pass, fair play though the moment he decided to go after their player you could see it was going to be a pen.

It was ironic. He knew the Bradford player had fecked him over and he should have known better.
I thought he was decent today. As other posters have said, our problems were in midfield where we were overrun. This was predicted before the match started as they get 4 into midfield against our 2/3.

Fish is the player of the season so far for me. I think your comments on him are very harsh. He does all of the defensive things well and has high passing accuracy. If he was one of our academy players he’d be getting all the praise.

Power played deep (& was MoM by a mile), Wintle played deep. So effectively it was Turnball v 3

We were a lot weaker in defence. We've kept things tight for months, he comes in, gives away a daft penalty, and we concede three goals. Hurry back, Lalwor, we missed you're calm, composed defending badly.

Even if Lawlor had played, I could only see a Bradford win.

Is Osho an out and out defender? He bombed forward quite impressively once or twice on Saturday, certainly the one time in the second half where he carried ball forward a good few yards. Had he started that break from a position further up the field it could have seriously threatened their defence. He seemed to have a bit of energy about him, more than certain members of Saturday’s midfield.
