Re: CARDIFF CITY v LEYTON ORIENT. Match thread
Would be a big win, we can't lose 3 on the bounce at home after such a good start surely?
At least you would imagine Orient would have more ambition than Burton and as such the match shouldn't descend into a training session.
Now they may look at that Burton result and think that's doable but I always think playing that way you do still need some luck at times, even if you have defended well. I think they will fancy themselves to come and play and get a result in their own way.

If we stopped trying to walk the ball into the net and players took the responsibility of shooting, it might help

Yep, BBM need to select the shoot on sight option, that's what I used to do on FM, worked a treat in matches like last night!

I'm not sure that we do(Exclusively) try to walk the ball Into the net. We have quite a few strikes on goal, we just struggle to hit the target.

I'd be interested to see how many of our strikes on goal are meaningful, as last night we apparently had 20 but it felt like we had no more than 6 or 7.

if we've learned nothing else.. anything is possible.
Re: CARDIFF CITY v LEYTON ORIENT. Match thread
A few changes I think, Kapacio, J Colwill, Davies and Robinson come in, maybe Kellyman, and maybe even Osho or Chambers.
We need more energy and pace.

I think Ng was our best player Tuesday and Kapacio had a poor game when he came on as did Joel to be fair.
Joel should definitely come in though and Ng came off injured so I reckon Kapacio starts.
Id play Lawlor and Osho though no problem if Fish keeps his place.
Kellyman hasn't shown anything to deserve a start yet.
Id play Isaak from the start. Lets hope he trains well!!!

What we need is more players that can "hold the ball up" so that the lads can play pass the ball to each other one meter outside the box.

Why have those Scottish shirts got a bluebird on them?
Re: CARDIFF CITY v LEYTON ORIENT. Match thread
I lived near Orient's group a few decades ago. I tried hard to "support my (new) local team", but god, they were dire.
This would have been 79/80 season, they were Div 2 (championship these days) and, amongst others, Newcastle and Chelsea were visitors. NU won 0-3, the Chelsea game was a fluke - 3-7 !
