this will be a very tough game

Re: BOLTON WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Of the top teams we play first, so an oportunity to create a gap over the chasing pack, for a short while at least.

Re: BOLTON WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We are top of the league and need fear noone. Bolton should be more worried than us.

Re: BOLTON WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
would be nice to see Lawler and fish back as the center half pairing for this one.

Re: BOLTON WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Bolton on a bit of a high after their 95th and 97th minute goals against Huddersfield on Thursday

Meh! We run hot and cold. The talent is there but it's lacking good leadership and drive. One player to inspire the team could take us very far.

Re: BOLTON WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Bolton's winger on loan from Brighton will be a proper test for Joel Bagan.

Noone left Bolton in 2019. He currently plays for Warrington Town.

A win amazing here, a draw acceptable in my view. Just avoid losing and go for it.

Re: BOLTON WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Trott
Kpakio
Fish
Lawlor
Bagan
Wintle
Jolwill
Davies
Rolwill
Willock
Salech
Tenatative 1-1, though I can see this one ending in defeat for us.

Difficult one to predict - but with that line up we will have one hell of a bench again!

Re: BOLTON WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Id play both Robinson and Salach.
R.Colwill could do with joining the subs bench.
In the words of Mile Bassett 4-4 fcuking 2

An attempt at humour from Mr Happy.
Good effort, keep working on it 👍

With BBM being a bit of a tinkerman, it is difficult to predict the line up.
However, if think he will keep Chambers at the back, with Fish and Kellyman will start instead of Davies, who seems to make the biggest impact off the bench. I would like to find a place for Robbo. Perhaps RColwill should be rested.
Of particular interest will be Robertson. Will he have a place on the tech. About time imo.

I read yesterday Bradford have sold over 5000 for their game in Bolton in a few weeks time. That is incredible support at this level, though I guess a perk of being an hour down the road and not having an early kick off on Sky. Very good effort from our fans considering those factors going against us.

I thought Kellyman was a bit of a passenger against Reading, his goal aside. Do agree with Davies looking better off the bench, though on this occasion I think we may well need pace. I'll be surprised if Bolton sit off us and let us knock it about from the outset, Davies provides the option to go long over the top, Kellyman doesn't seem to have that level of pace in is wheelhouse.

Feel a bit sorry for Davies, playing on wing when clearly his best position is striker, playing off last defender. Would be far better option for Wales than Harris.

Going by xG, they have a slightly better defence and we have a slightly better attack, but 2 of the best teams at this level.
should be a good game
