Manager resigns

The manager of John O'GTOATS FC has resigned following their Defeat to Lands end FC.
He said "he has taken the team as far as they could go"

That has got to be worth a 😂 in my book.
Lots of folk on here have lost their sense of humour. I’m surprised TBG hasn’t waded in telling you that “ that is not technically right old fruit.” 😂

Let me throw in an interesting fact instead:
Did you know that Cornwall rises and falls 10 to 15 cm twice every day i.e. with each tide?
It wasn't realised until the introduction of GPS - and considering that all land elevations in the British mainland have been tied to Mean Sea Level at Newllyn for over a century it came as a great surprise to many people.
