Anybody know the what players are missing? Still looks a decent team to me, especially going forward.

Plus 4 decent attacking options on the bench

Brennan Jonhson and Ben Woodburn left out of squad again, why not just leave hem with the 21s?

Looks about right as they only have 7 named on the bench including two goalkeepers.

Re: REPUBLIC of IRELAND v WALES. Match thread
Would prefer ANYONE else, in place of that diving, cheating little shit Roberts.
Can't take to the fella.
-
Re: REPUBLIC of IRELAND v WALES. Match thread
I'd rather a more physical presence alongside Morrell. Smith & Morrell is a slight duo
-
Re: REPUBLIC of IRELAND v WALES. Match thread
Aww man. That Ireland team. Football scum. With the exception of Ende Stevens there's some of my least favourite players in there. All they need is to bring back that little potato faced prick Whelan back in. The football equivalent of a team of scabby lipped, pastie faced, thieving, withdrawing smack heads rifling through the Armani wash bags in the away changing room during the anthems.

Big question for me is, is Neco better than Connor roberts?
I like Roberts think he’s a better defender but Neco definitely speeds us up

Re: REPUBLIC of IRELAND v WALES. Match thread
good pressing again from Wales

Gunter is better defensively and Williams is better going forward

It’s like watching a match in the Eden Project.

Re: REPUBLIC of IRELAND v WALES. Match thread
Randolph just fouled Ampadu not the other way around. What game was the ref watching
-
Re: REPUBLIC of IRELAND v WALES. Match thread
How on earth is that a foul by Ampadu? :hehe:

Annoyingly refs automatically assume the ‘keeper’s been fouled:shrug:

He's assuming any time Kieffer challenges its a foul

Re: REPUBLIC of IRELAND v WALES. Match thread
What's the time difference between Dublin and Wales? The commentator keeps saying the game's being played at night.

It would be OK for Australia or South Africa. Not so much for Wales.

Re: REPUBLIC of IRELAND v WALES. Match thread
I'd like to see that shove on Moore again. Looked a foul and may have been in the box

About fifteen years:hehe:

Re: REPUBLIC of IRELAND v WALES. Match thread
Ref's itching to send Moore off
-
Re: REPUBLIC of IRELAND v WALES. Match thread
Watching this game makes me think that the quality, attacking-midfielder we're crying out for at City might not make much difference.

Keiffer’s getting nothing off this ref today, I think he’s taken an instant dislike to him.

Re: REPUBLIC of IRELAND v WALES. Match thread
He’s going to wear the pea out on his whistle!!!

Your time living across the pond has led you to forget some things about the motherland my friend

Well that was underwhelming. Time for a cuppa and a Jaffa cake.

Re: REPUBLIC of IRELAND v WALES. Match thread
The final ball into the Irish box has been very poor.
