FT: CARDIFF CITY 3 - 1 COVENTRY CITY. Match thread

		Saturday 13th February 2021. ko 3:00pm
How quickly things change. Cardiff are looking for a third win in a row and what could be a fifth game unbeaten for Mick McCarthy. Coventry are the visitors.
The last time the teams met in Cardiff was a League fixture in 2012. The game ended 2 - 2 with a Cov o.g. and Peter Whittingham scoring for Cardiff.
Coventry won 1 - 0 the last time the teams met at St Andrews on a grim night back in November.

Think it could be another snowbound game, the way the forecast is looking. Hope the orange balls are good and ready this time.

Can't imagine there will be much change in the team going into this one, other than Pack or Bacuna for Ralls presumably. Wonder if Murphy may have caught Mick's eye after the ball in for the winner, a rare showing of his technical ability - might be worth a shot.

If Ojo has a knock I expect Murphy to start. Pack for Ralls in mf. Thought Ralls was quiet even before his injury. Wonder if Smithies will come in for Phillip's, who did nothing wrong?

MM says he's only texted Smithies, so I'd be shocked if he's fit!

Think Bacuna is a cert to get on, but it’s anyone’s guess after that - no Hoilett either.

Bench looking very inexperienced. Not much room for changes. Hoilett must have a knock but a bit surprised that's he's not about.
Hopefully by next weekend they will all be back, including Johnny Williams!
