What show would you bring back
Listening to the socially distant podcast (great if you haven’t given it a go) talking about the Danny Baker show - used to love listening to that!
They’ve tried remakes of classics but what TV or radio show would you bring back

..well right now you might struggle to assemble a large cast of characters and three would be lot of perspex and hand sanitizer... personally I would like to see the return of Big Breakfast, 11 O'Clock show and a Saint & Greavsie/Fantasy Football style show - that Peter Crouch thing came close but fell flat.

Are you referring to the track sung by Jackie for the programme of the same name or some random creation now only available on the dark web ?

The originals are still shown on the Forces TV channel. Brilliant concept with some great characters.

One of my favourite sitcoms. They did a special for, possibly Comic Relief or Children in Need a few years ago where he was now in the 60s and was able to come back to the present day. I think I read somewhere there had been talk of reviving it but the cost of doing so would have been far too high.

The Adventure Game
Rag, Tag and Bobtail
The Old Grey Whistle Test (Reruns only)

Re: What show would you bring back
there are shows where I wish they had made more:
police squad, firefly etc, but not sure I would want to try to bring them back - they wouldn't be as good
having said that, sometimes when they do bring something back it works just as well l, like the tick.
I'd like another series of Dirk gentley's hollistic detective agency, but it doesn't look like they'll make it.

Why would it? When he is in the 40's he only be on about £35 a week or 80's he'd only be on a couple of hundred quid a week!!!
Cheap as chips

Yeah, but you can have another go.
If you missed with a spear, your enemy could use it against you!

If the enemy caught your boomerang he could use it against you, and if the enemy threw your spear back he might miss and you'd have anpther go. As generally boomerangs were only used by native australians its a fair bet your enemy was uing a boomerang too. you could be out the back all day lobbing the bloody things around.
Iit's dangerous!!!
