Hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate this game, and I’m not a big fan of it either.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
We badly need 3 points. Im sure this time we will turn get them.
Theyve got the worst keeper in the league and a poor defence.

Oh great

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
Just hope that Lamouchi can instill into the players that this is not just another league fixture - it means much more than that to most of the supporters. Regardless of the result, 100% effort is required in all departments not an humiliating "roll over and die" performance.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
O'Dowda's definitely out of the Ireland France game tonight. Being described today as "losing his fitness battle", so hopefully not too bad and ok for Saturday?

Tend to be more cautious when away on international duty, so fingers crossed.

Here’s the article https://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/soc...allum-29558743
We won’t have any players left for Saturday :frown:

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
On the plus side, at least we don’t have the worry of this possibly leading to the first ever league double.

Just keep the sprinklers on. An unfortunate development when a goal down.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
This is a huge game even though the result doesn’t determine whether we stay up or go down. This is worth so much more than the 3 points.
hope they sell out completely should be a good atmosphere. I’m gutted as can’t go (due to illness) and it’s not on tv either but make sure you shout extra loud for me everyone
🙂👍🏼

6 pointer we could easily finish above them with a win!

Bloody internet.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
Lamouchi confident that O'Dowda will be fit. Robinson still out for a while though.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread

That sounds encouraging.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
There was no mention of Etete in the WOL pre-match blog.
Hopefully he is OK.
He was standing pitch-side with the other players at Rotherham after the match was suspended - not on a treatment table or strapped up - which was a good sign.

That could be one of two things though.
It is royally ****ed so not much can be done now.
Hopefully it is the case that it was better than first thought.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
I expect the season tickets will be rushed out if we don’t lose on Saturday.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
Will we see Robinson again this season? Not sure we will. Good news on O’Dowda it seems and you’d like to think that Etete will be okay.

There were a few clips of a training session mixed into the club video of Lamouchi pre-Swansea. They seemed to be this week and Etete was there with the rest of the squad (bar O'Dowda who was training separately and the definitely missing: Robinson, Adams and Collins).

He’s had an op apparently so I doubt it.

I think the match is on the sky red button.

It’s not. Games at 3 on a Saturday are not available for broadcast.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
Any PMT setting in for anybody?
A win here could be huge.

Plenty.
With the run of bad luck we seem to be having this last couple of weeks, I wish I was as confident as some on here.
Feeling slightly nauseous already so God knows what I will be like tomorrow!

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
I spotted the Jacks team bus heading down the A4232 ( heading to Culver from the M4 ) yesterday about 6.30 pm ish , I abused it out of the window, just because if felt like the right thing to do
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
Not confident about this game at all - if it were any other mid table side on a run as bad as Swansea's then I'd be expecting 3 points, but you just know that Swansea are going to raise their game against us and thn immediately go back to being crap again afterwards
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
I think key to tomorrow will be putting their poor defence and dreadful keeper under pressure.
Get at Fisher quickly. The Jacks dont rate him at all and hes taken a lot of stick after feck up after feck up.
Badly need O Dowda fit.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
Canton need to do their bit and let him know of their knowledge of his goalkeeping shortcomings.
