Be interested to see how quickly we move in the transfer market as it doesn't seem to me that we move that quickly in transfers ??

As expected and stated on an alternate thread, the response to this on social media has been overwhelmingly positive.

Proof the echo chamber that is CCMB does not represent the wider fan base. ‘Split fan base’ or whatever words the trust used my arse.

Poor Vinnie. He doesn't often listen to advice, and when he does it's terrible.

I wouldn't have said that Bulut was reserved. He's been quite open about things in his interviews at least.

Concerns from the owner over playing style on were rumoured, while Bulut sought assurances over the length of his contract, transfer budget as well as off-field appointments.

He's been listening to TLG and ETHB :hehe:



However, a deal which will appease everyone, not least the vast majority of Bluebirds supporters, has now been struck and Tan has praised the "strong foundations" Bulut laid during his first year in charge and hopes he will build on them next term.

The comments on the club instagram page are overwhelmingly positive. In fact there’s not a single negative comment.

The fans singing for him to stay in their numbers.

But on here there’s scores of negative reactions to him, people saying they won’t go again. I think messageboard posters are just moaners :haha:

End of the day, he improved us last year under difficult circumstances. Let’s see how he does this year. I hope for better performances and a challenge for top 6. Let’s see what happens.

For every ETHB and TLG there are 2 or 3 others that accept things are what they are and things could be a lot worse

Given the choice of stability or another shot in the dark next season, I'm not too displeased that Bulut has got the contract extension he wanted. If he is fully backed by Tan, there can be no excuses from the manager if he fails to meet expectations. An improved league position and more positive football would be a good start. Just glad they've got the deal over the line.

I think it’s reasonable to assume by the time it took to get the deal sorted that Vincent Tanand Erol Bulut do not exactly see eye to eye on the way the club develops. That makes me wonder if the stability you talk about will last that long. Steve Morison was sacked less than a fortnight after Vincent Tan signed off on a transfer that cost £1.5 million, money that no one thought we had to spend at that time. It would not surprise me at all if Erol Bulut is gone quite early into the new season even if results don’t seem that bad to most of us.

Surely you don't think that it's just a few people that have been critical of our style of play last season? I know loads who are of that opinion, even some of those who support Bulut on social media have said the side needs to be more attacking. Hell, even you suggested that earlier today.

He will get paid up and some point, I don’t see him here 3 years.
