Petition to get rid of starmer and his cronies
https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/700143
I've said it a few times, will be the most despised government in our history, a WEF puppet answerable to Gates and Blackrock, this is where the Farmers land will be going.

I think he's useless but I despise Thatcher and Johnson and the Tories
If he's pissing off tory voters and their reform chums he's doing something right

You are a propa old skool socialist, you must be appalled by what he has done / is doing to Britain, just giving him a pass against the Tory lot isnt enough.

Re: Petition to get rid of starmer and his cronies
I don't want to say I told you so, but..
The good news is that I think this govt will finally inspire us to rid ourselves of Welsh Labour. Mark the date lads, May 2026 if not before. Fingers firmly crossed!
I predict the mood will be..Reform, Tory, Lib Dem, Plaid..anyone but Labour.

You’ve posted more anti UK Government stuff in the last four months than you did in the fourteen years before that when you gave the impression domestic politics was beneath you - now we see your true colours.
I said I couldn’t see myself voting Labour again after the election and nothing that has happened since then has made me think of changing my mind, but any new Governing party should be given a period of grace of longer than four months because they can legitimately claim that “the big picture” has not become clear.
I had no great expectations of this Government, but they’ve been worse than I thought they would be so far - I won’t be signing this ridiculously timed petition though.

Re: Petition to get rid of starmer and his cronies
We are already seeing who the real losers are with this government….thankfully it’s not me….in fact they were particularly nice to landlords the other week, anyone would think that chancellor has a few properties too….lol

Re: Petition to get rid of starmer and his cronies
The whinging from the far right losers is a sight to behold. 14 years of austerity and corruption to fix and you want everything sorted in 4 months. Bunch of loons.

I'm no Starmer fan but starting a petition 4 months after the election is utterly ridiculous, let alone you could have everybody in the UK sign it and it wouldn't make the tiniest bit of difference as to when they decide to call it

It's not domestic politics though.

Re: Petition to get rid of starmer and his cronies
These petitions never do anything what’s the point of them? The 20mph one had almost half a million signatures but the Welsh dictator just shrugged it off, like many before. Overturn Brexit? More politicians in Cardiff bay? Pointless

I didn't lose anything fella, many of the elderly did, and that you rejoice over it along with the other virtuous says it all, the ship has sailed labeling everyone far right because they do not fall into line with the extreme left, no one cares anymore you and your squad overplayed it.
Thatcher stole the children's school milk
Starmer has with his fellow wefers, excelled Thatcher and some, carry on cheering.
The fact that hes only been in power a tomato season must be the icing on the cake for you and the crew.

They reversed the 20mph policy and some will end up being changed back to 30mph (and rightly so).
It's an example of a petition working!

Re: Petition to get rid of starmer and his cronies
These petitions are laughable and pathetic
The petition or contest or whatever people want to call it took place in July
Labour or the tories in red won it by a landslide
The next petition will take place in 4 and a half years time , it will be called the general election
I personally hope Starmer is thrown under a bus long before then as he's absolutely hopeless and by the time of the election the country has a decent leader
If he isn't replaced I predict a coalition between Labour and the liberals to keep out the Tories and I will always vote for that
Until then it's all hot air ....braverman at the farmers rally sucking up for votes , if anyone is a let down considering the hype it's that dreadful woman

What have they done in that time, taking winter fuel allowance off pensioners to give to Civil Servants and the public centre inflation-busting pay rises?
I forgot and Lammy has made an enemy of Trump, marvelous.

Does saying dumb divisive shit like this make you feel good?
Benefits are meant to be for people who absolutely need them, the majority of pensioners don't, a small amount have been caught in the grey area, which sucks for them. As we did to death in the other thread, logical policy, threshold set to low and has caught people out.
I would earn 15-20k more if I was doing my job in the private sector with slightly less job security and a worse pension but my 'decent' pension kicks in at state pension age so god knows when that will be or if I will be alive to see it. I am in this job because of a drive to try and make things better for vulnerable kids and their families but unfortunately that fuzzy feeling doesn't pay for anything so the goodwill only goes so far. If you want the kind of pay stagnation we saw during the 2010s to continue then you don't want public services. That's fine, but just say that.

I don’t Fink it would make a difference if the signatures reached 25m :hehe:

Re: Petition to get rid of starmer and his cronies
The petition is just a bit of fun really and a modern way of expressing discontent.
Everyone knows there shouldn't be and won't be a general election for several years (thankfully).
I love how the BBC just mention it got over 100,000 though, even though it is now at 2.5m.

When the Brexit re-run referendum reached that number it was mentioned as part of the headline!

Don't take facts personally, that's what the government has done, you don't have to get defensive, you've gained at the pensioners' expense, you wanted Labour in to benefit yourself and your family, that's life.
Civil servants one, pensioners nil.
Let's see what happens when the pensioners on mass and other losers in the budget vote next time.
People forgot what a Labour government was like, they've had a quick reminder, they will drag the UK down to Wales standards and leave a mess without being in government during Brexit and Covid.
All the incumbent governments during Covid will be voted out, people will blame the mess it left and the damage to the governments, then a few years later will realise how difficult a period it was as a once in 100-year event.

I hate to burst your bubble but I got a larger pay rise (in % and £) last year under the conservatives. Also Local Government pay increases weren't funded centrally unlike those set by pay review bodies so instead had to be absorbed into existing budgets i.e. the money isnt being pinched from elsewhere, we just see a continuation of the budgetary pressure that councils have failed for a decade or more. Also also our pay offer was made to the unions under the previous conservative government. Turns out you don't really know anything, which will surprise absolutely nobody.
My point is it's retarded to look at government spending, pick two random things and associate them. The government committed money to loads of sectors at the same time as means testing the winter fuel allowance. For example 'they have committed 1 billion to the aerospace sector, and they took that 1 billion directly from poor fragile freezing cold pensioners' doesnt get people like you frothing so nobody says it, its just as valid though (i.e. not valid).
-
Re: Petition to get rid of starmer and his cronies
I think starmer is a disaster
I hope he's very quickly taken out of the game via a vote of no confidence
But I will never vote conservative and I think losing a load of seats and a coalition with the liberals at the next election will be the outcome

Re: Petition to get rid of starmer and his cronies
See the petition/publicity stunt has rather run out of steam in the last few days with something like a third of the votes the one calling for a second Brexit vote got. That time many of the people so eager to sign a petition this week were saying the people have spoken and democracy must be seen to be working - one difference was that the subject of the petition happened years earlier in the first instance and months earlier in the second one, I dare say we can now expect similar such petitions every few months from the snowflakes who are only fans of them when they suit their agenda.

The story is correct and should be the topic not the source. I wouldn't be so confident about his massive majority, Twitter has a massive influence and its owner has Starmer in his sight.

Slightly different, that's more like good project governance.
you SHOULD re-evaluate whether you want to do a project still as the reality of it becomes more clear, that's fundamental to any project management methodology.
None of the political parties were interested in following that through though, as it would have been an open goal for their opposition to accuse them of "betraying the outcome of the referendum" - i.e. politics is preventing our leaders from acting in the best interests of the country.
