Re: Wednesday night football. Something on every game
Watching those Will Vaulks long throws I am getting a bit nostalgic for 'Direct Cardiff'.
Now we have to put up with O'Dowda's efforts.
In recent times our missile attack included; Andy Legg, Aron Gunnarsson, Callum Paterson, Will Vaulkes, Greg Halford, Sean Morrison.
I don't want to go back to that being the way we played, but having the option.....

Re: Wednesday night football. Something on every game
Plymouth 3 down, superb goal from Josh Key

Re: Wednesday night football. Something on every game
Come on you Swans
Doing us a big favor. 3-0 up
QPR also helping us 1-0 up.

Jon, you could reminisce about Whitts wand of a left foot, Steve mc phails vision, sol bamba's ability to drive into the midfield with the ball, or even Mendez Laing looking like a 20 million pound player between August and the end of september 2017, yet you choose Will Vaulks and his long throw ins. What happened jon......... :hehe:

Will they do us a favour on the last day of the season when they play Oxford home?
Imagine the scenario, we need to get a result at Norwich and Oxford need to win.
They’ll roll over. I’d want us to do the same.

So much for the sinking ship down west. Seems someone has re-floated it.

indeed, they've always been a capable side, but like all Championship teams they've had a few dips along the way, they look dangerous whenever they have the ball tonight..

As Life President of the Will Vaulkes Appreciation Society (Charity and Long Throw Division) I am under an obligation! :hehe:
(You just wait until I explain why Andy Rinomhota is our Player of the Season - that will make Vaulks love look sane).

Re: Wednesday night football. Something on every game
Some goal from the teenager Doue for PSG!

What a player.
Enjoyed that half. Rashford looks such a different dangerous player. What does man United do to these players.
Nice to see results going our way so far

Player of the season should be banned this season. Winning it would be like lauding it up over your class mates because you got a 'D' in an exam paper when all the rest got an 'E'.

FT: Coventry 1 - 0 Portsmouth
FT: Swansea 3 - 0 Plymouth
FT: Oxford 1 - 3 QPR
Decent set of results. QPR all but safe now, it's down to 8 teams looking to avoid the drop

Have to assume Plymouth are done with that points gap & goal difference
Pompey right back in it

South Wales has been a grim Pilgrimage for them, 0 scored & 8 conceded.

Re: Wednesday night football. Something on every game
I know we've said it so many times but Stoke really is a must win. No other result can be acceptable.

Preston fans were commenting that Stoke were far better than us. They were fuming they only got a draw last night and blamed the defensive substitutions. Sounds familiar.

11/1 with the bookies, which is surprising given their form. If Derby beat them and one of ourselves or Luton win this weekend they'll be the team in 'free fall'.
