It may be he just wanted the badges whilst he was here and the opportunity arose to get them done, perhaps he will become a coach, maybe not.
He was a bloody good player but as a coach he would be far less experienced than even Riza when he joined. If we are saying well anyone but Riza then given our track record it's far more likely Tan would put Purse or Ramasut in charge.
In response to the op he may well be involved behind the scenes, if he is then he's unlikely to want to shout it from the rooftops at the moment. Chances are hes not involved and is focused on still playing next season.
Why Ralls to take over? Ramsey I can understand to a degree but he might not have the qualifications/knowhow either. Have we become hypnotised by the south east accent? Or is it the old he's-old-and-been-here-a-while-so-let's-give-him-a-coaching-job malarky, so beloved of the suddenly sentimental fan.

whatever substitution he makes, or starting lineup some people will hate it and say it's evidence he doesn't know what he's doing.
If you segment things, then there will always be successes and positives, even when a player has had a poor game there will be instances where that player may have done alright in a passage of play. We have to look at the whole picture, and it's ultimately failed for Riza up to now. It's his job to devise a way of playing that is affective with the players he has at his disposal, and he has rarely done that. As for the playing staff, well, i've been calling them out for 18 months, and i took some shit over it on here, because standards are low, people are biased or easily pleased. This lot are weak, soft and not very good, and i include the manager in that.Quote:
