No Fish or Daland.

Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
No Daland. No Fish. Who else is missing?
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Daland and Fish have slight knocks according to Glen Williams. Etete and Tsunoda also missing, but no known injuries.
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Tsunoda was injured last match, didn’t look good.

It even looks bad on the players

Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
In the Dulux colour range that would be hangover green.

Isn't injured according to WOL. Glen Williams wouldn't be surprised if Etete leaves

Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I’ve seen enough. We’re winning the league. Pile on.

0-1 Robinson, Colwill with the assist.

Are we to read anything into Turner starting do you think? Or do Horvath & Alnwick just have knocks?

Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We’re amazing wtf :hehe:
0-2 Colwill screamer
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Who’s that team in green?
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
0-2 Colwill. Lovely build up, Colwill with a beautiful finish from the edge of the box.
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Lawlor HAS to start. His passes that cut through the midfield…been missing that for years.
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Lawlor plays with a wisdom beyond his years. Fantastic defensive addition.
For the first time in a long while, I'm starting to have some confidence in this team.
BBM definitely has found an excellent aggressive playstyle.
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This Colwill fella's decent...

Has he signed a new contract? I'm sure I saw something that he hadn't as yet?

One year extension to June 2026 I think, so need to get something in place for longer than that.
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Are there any dodgy streams of the match at all?

Not yet. Needs to be a priority.

Shh! Don't tell Vinnie - he won't sell up.
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
It feels weird having a right back that can run.
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
There’s no way we can keep this aggression and press up for 46 games though right?
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Usual caveats about pre-season obviously apply, but I can't remember the last time we looked so aggressive

I think we're definitely going to need reinforcements to get the system well-gelled. I have actual confidence in BBM to identify points of weakness and lack of backup in the squad so we can invest appropriately.
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
1-2 just couldn't clear the ball, QPR passing it around the edge of the box. Crisp finish from the edge of the area.

He’s looking like a bleep test winner today.

Time on the ball probably
Confidence a possibility
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Not quite sure how it’s only 2-1. Really enjoyable performance - particularly impressed by Lawlor, Bagan, Wintle and Colwill, but everyone played well.
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
"Lawlor" is trending on Twitter :hehe: :hehe:
Fair to say some of our fans are excited by him.... can't wait for him to be benched for Calamity Daland

It’s only a pre season warm up game.
😂

Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Lovely goal ruled out for offside. Great play by Colwill again, plays it to Wintle with a lovely finish into the bottom corner. Davies offside Infront of the keeper.
-
Re: Q.P.R. v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
2-2. City pressing high but badly exposed by a long ball, guy is free to run into the box and square it for the tap in.
Shame as overall played well.
Only pre season but someone switched off badly for that goal.
