He also needs to encourage other players to support attack more. Having better wingers is no use if he uses them as full backs for most of the time, while it doesn't matter who is up front, they don't get enough support from midfield or we don't employ wingers far enough up the field to create enough chances for them.
For me it's not a personnel issue, but entirely tactical.

I agree with this entirely.
Also the talk of why do we suddenly attack when its 1-1. Is this actually Bulut instructing this. I think its more the case is the opposition have been holding on to the 1 nil and weve been attacking. We equalise the crowd are up for it and the players with the momentum just continue where they left off.
At home at least lets play on the front foot from the start. Its no wonder the crowd is so quiet with little or no action.

I think you've got a point about how our approach from 1-1, though I'd suggest that it hasn't been so much that our opponents have been holding on to a 1-0, more there's often been a sense of complacency - certainly with Ipswich and Southampton, then when we've levelled late-ish on, they realise they've blown what should have been an easy 3 points and they don't have the momentum to get back into the game.

I think we make fairly positive substitutions and the attacking players coming on often make an impact, the last 20 mins and beyond seem like the best part of our games last season.
Mind you that could be because we are usually losing by then :hehe:

If the weekend stories about it all having been sorted were true, you would have thought that the first working day after a Bank Holiday would have been the time when it would have been made official.

I understand your point but I think the main thing most people are forgetting is that he is still under contract having signed a one year deal at the beginning of June 2023. I'd expect an announcement next week that he has left or renewed.

The only explanation for the longevity of these 'negotiations' is that 1] City are desperate to keep him and haven't even considered anyone else, and 2] Bulut knows this and is going to string the club along until either another club shows interest and he uses that as leverage, or he waits until the club gives him an ultimatum - in City's case probably August 7th..
