I think Cian Ashford can be a Premier League player one day and Ill be disappointed if he never wins a senior cap for Wales, but hes the same age as Arda Guler and one of them is at Real Madrid and the other has played in a few end of season games in the Championship with nothing riding on them. However, taking Bulut at his word, if he thinks Ashford really does bear comparison with Arda, what does it say about our manager that Ashford was virtually a permanent fixture on the bench for a City side that was playing poorly through most of the second half of the season and yet he didnt get on the pitch in a league game until all hopes of an unlikely top six finish had gone?

I can only assume you were on a windup. Or perhaps your eyes were as functional as a mole. Even the eyeballs could see the quality crossing, dribbling and high pass completion rate.

"Khvicha Kvaratskhelia shone for Georgia, completing 10 progressive carries and posting the highest xT of 0.57, constantly probing Türkiye’s defense. His efforts, however, were not enough to overcome Türkiye’s solid defensive structure, which included 26 clearances and 7 blocks, compared to Georgia’s 19 and 4, respectively."

Liverpool, United, Man City and Newcastle are now sniffing around him it seems....

Must have been watching a different game. Perhaps next time I shall recommend you having a Fanta rather than a beer. :hehe:

Nope, watching the same game, the way you described him, I was expecting George Best on speed. What I witnessed was Ojo on laxatives

It's all press work, soundbites to get the fans excited and on side.
I hope Ashford makes it all the way to the top, but Bulut is off his tits.

Re: EUROS thread. Wednesday 19th June 2024.
Our qualifying campaign looking less and less impressive by the minute.

Re: EUROS thread. Tuesday 18th June 2024.
Why oh why do managers/coaches start swapping players when they are winning a football match.
The Albanians were walking to an easy win before all the changes

Then the Croatian muppet does the same and throws the game away
Unbelievable, stop tinkering, unless they are injured

Re: EUROS thread. Wednesday 19th June 2024.
Brilliant for Albania. Croatia are poor, no energy or desire at all in that midfield. I'm sure the commentators/pundits will try to big modric up, but what an absolute pile of dogshit he has been this tournament. That Croatian midfield was virtually non existent again.
Feel a bit sorry for Albania with the group they've copped. They've played well enough that they could have had second(or even first) place wrapped up in a lot of the groups by now

Re: EUROS thread. Wednesday 19th June 2024.
Another great match, but this Croatia side is not a patch on some of their previous ones.
Hamburgs seen two marvellous matches in two days.

Re: EUROS thread. Tuesday 18th June 2024.
Should that have been a pelanty in the first minute, to Hungary
Keeper got the ball, but followed through on the man ?

Re: EUROS thread. Wednesday 19th June 2024.
I know its only about 10 hrs away, but impressive nos and support from Hungary.

Re: EUROS thread. Wednesday 19th June 2024.
As good as Germany have started this tournament, it does seem hard to really fancy a team that is spearheaded by Havertz
😁

Sounds like the effect of the laxatives came spewing out of your mouth and blocked your eyes, judging by that shite above.

Lovely goal by Gündogǎn about 10 minutes ago.
