Let's see how many are pursued by other clubs, that will highlight how "in demand" they are,
I'm with you, i've been saying it for two seasons. The manager, coaching set up was poor, but some of those individual performances were down to the players, and i'm astonished at the amount of excuses for some of those players.

Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
The other site is reporting that Horvarth, Ng, Turnbull and Willock have all asked to leave. If they did, I think Ng would be the only loss. Even then if Rinhomota resigns, with him, Kpakio, numerous right footed midfielders and 6' centre halves we should be well covered.
It they were to leave, it would free up space for the couple of new signings. We currently have 24 senior players (defined as those born 2003 or before), 7 U21's who have played league football (Ashford, J.Colwill, Kpakio, Giles, Lawlor, Nyakuhwa & Reindorf) and 3 other U21's who have played for the 1st team in the cups (Jefferies, Twose & Beecher). It is a really large squad.
We have some depth but in my opinion we need to add a traditional centre half, a left footed winger with pace and possibly a no.6 (this depends for Chambers and Rinhomota). Chambers could be sensational a holding midfielder. I thought he was excellent when he played for us there last season.

Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
To be honest, none of them would be a loss if we get a good price for them. Neither of those four are must-keep, Turnbull is OK and Ng has had amazing seasons in the past, but been naff last season.

As I posted on Twitter earlier, apart from Ng possibly, a Championship club would need to have its head read to contemplate signing them on anything like the same wages as we paid them following their performances last season . Again, it’s arguable with Ng, but, would any of them have got in the strongest eleven of our bottom of the table team?

Ng would absolutely be in our strongest XI.

they're all under contract, doesn't matter if they've asked to leave unless someone is willing to pay what the club thinks they're worth

Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
The sheer cheek and comedy of Horvath asking to leave... is he worried League 1 is still a couple of divisions too high for him?
Overall I tend to agree, other than Ng no big losses there and presumably all on relatively high wages, think we'd be very happy to give them away if we can find takers.

Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
I wonder what our average age would be if those players. do all leave

Anyone that is forcing their way out other than Salech can get driven as far as I'm concerned. They're the reason we're here.

Good luck with Robinson and others if you believe that

As it stands out squad's average age is 24.2 (making some assumptions about who moves from the U21s to the 1st team squad).
If Horvath, Ng, Turnbull and Willock all left it would be 23.6.
The players who have left already (not including loanees returning to their parent clubs) have an average age of 28.75.
(All figures above subject to my maths abilities!)

If they've asked to leave as a result of the relegation clause in their contracts which results in them taking a pay cut then the Club has consider the implications of keeping players who don't want to be here. What the Club thinks they are worth may be influenced by a desire just to get rid of them.

Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
Gent have paid Dinamo Zagreb €1.2mm for Wilfried Kanga, 6 months after he left us and Zagreb paid €1.7m to Hertha Berlin for him!

Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
How the actual feck has anyone paid money for Wilfried Kanga????
Maybe there's hope some idiotic club will pay money for some of our rubbish because as bad as they are none are comparable to Kanga.

That has to be to do with money laundering.
