I think if there are any positives it’s that Fish looked tidy, he could maybe play with the Norwegian lad.
Chambers looked a bit better at RB than he does at Centre Back.

I think everyone generally agrees it's time for a change

 Fish had a good debut. Chambers 'should' be a tidy player but is hexed by the CCFC demons. Interesting he played at RB.

I'd take that, assuming it's just till end of season and he's told he can't sign anyone in January. To be fair, I'd take Gavin Chesterfield right now too.

Sadly, I had that feeling a few weeks ago. So much so that I agreed to the MrsKingofSiamSheIs request to go to a garden centre this afternoon instead of trying to find a dodgy stream/listen to Radio Wales commentary.
Don't get me wrong, I have done this before, but usually I am on edge and on my phone following the comments on here/BBC match thread. Usualyy it is all... "oh yeah, that's a nice flower... can we go now (so we can get home quick and I can catch a dodgy stream)?
Well today, I wasn't bothered.
However, just as we were getting near the end of the exciting Saturday afternoon garden centre visit, I looked at the time and thought... If I pay for my stuff, real quick, I can go back to the car and listen to the last 15 minutes of the first half.
Suffice to say, as we were driving home, instead of having the radio on and having the conflict of interest between listening politely to MrsKingofSiamSheIs and trying not to get too excited about City building up the pressure and missing another chance, I turned the radio off because I envisioned what was going to happen.
Consequently, I had a pleasant, relaxing day out in the sun with MrsKingofSiamSheIs.
No offence to MrsKingofSiamSheIs, but a Saturday afternoon, after a week of drudge in work, should be more entertaining than looking forward to a visit to a garden centre!

So a genuine question... as a former professional footballer you may have been in a similar position where players are getting the flack on the pitch due to the managers tactics, do/would players really want to risk their career by going against how a manager wants to play?

My Grandson went this afternoon... yes I brought him up the right way with Grandfatherly advice.
I doknow what he thinks of the "entertainment value" currently on offer. However, I will be taking him to task if he joined in.

Thanks, although i was never at the highest level, i mean first team appearances, i played reserves, Avon Combination i think it was called, and at a much lower level than the championship, and it was a very long time ago  In my opinion i think it's like almost all work places. If a workforce feels demotivated and they lose respect for their bosses, or they see their boss puting the blame on them as opposed to taking responsibility for a situation equally, then i reckon that they're not going to put a full shift in, or they're going to feel devalued, which leads to poor performance. And i think that's what we're witnessing up to a point. I also believe in having some pride and taking personal as well as collective responsibility when things go to shit, and i don't see much character in this squad of players. We can all blame people, circumstances, things not sitting right with us, but ultimately, when you go out and play there are certain aspects of the game which are on the player, and when things are going south it's then that we look for character, i don't see any.

Flipping eck, everything in your reply resonates with certain aspects of my former job.
I tend to agree with what you allude to; where many people in modern society do not accept personal responsibility for when things start to get tough.

It's a bug bear of mine. I know that circumstances can sometimes dictate, but we can all take a bit of ownership when the hit hits the fan, many hands and all that

Thing is, when you con people into getting them to think that you take responsibility, blaming others becomes more believable. That's a win in my book.

Re: FT: DERBY COUNTY 1 - 0 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
It’s time the journalists earned their pay and asked some questions of the management, and get a private low down from a player or too. Why are we so passive, relying on a last yahoo to try to save every game. The players seem like they are on a massive energy conservation exercise. There’s no intensity in anything they do. They may as well dig up the goals in the training pitch, there’s no way they use them.
