NBC found archived video of Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein partying at Mar-a-Lago with a room full of women. Lordy, there are tapes.
Wow, he's been caught enjoying a bit a nightlife in the company of beautiful women. That proves he is guilty, lock him up and throw away the key!

In the wake of Epstein’s arrest, Trump was quizzed about his relationship with Epstein. Trump told reporters he “knew [Epstein], like everybody in Palm Beach knew him”. But Trump added: “I had a falling out with him. I haven’t spoken to him in 15 years. I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you.”
However, in a 2002 profile of Epstein from New York magazine, Trump was quoted as saying: “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

Well - it is 17 actually, and the close friendship carried on until at least 2004.
But I highlighted the two lines to make it easy for you. Obviously wasted my time. Trump said he 'was not a fan' of Epstein - referring to the time they knew each other. However, when he commented at the time he called Epstein a 'terrific guy' etc.
Trump is now lying about the nature of his former relationship with Epstein - exposed by his own words. Simple really!

Yes, but what I want to know is did Trump win in 2020?

"The president won this one," said House Dem 1 of the Trump v Squad (AOC, Tlaib, Omar & Pressley) showdown. "What the president has done is politically brilliant. Pelosi was trying to marginalize these folks and the president has now identified the entire party with them."

So what? How about the actual story that doesn't quite add up? Or do you only believe things that are written in the (insert name here) which is owned by (insert name here)? You need to be more agile with your news sources. Every news outlet is a mixture of fact and fiction, so it's up to you to sort out which is which, otherwise you will end up like lardy posting BS everyday :hehe:

If Donald Trump's next presidential campaign is "better a racist than a socialist" and he wins then goodness me. You can disagree absolutely with everything these four house representatives have said but at best Trump is choosing to weaponize racism in order to win political points.....I don't see how anyone who doesn't reject this deserves any votes.

Is not liking people who hate America racism? Congress doesn't think so, cos they voted down yesterday's motion. The promlem is terms like racist and concentration camp are now being used freely for political gain, which will diminish their true meaning. That's the thing about identity politics, you have to stick labels on everything, and the worse they are the better it is.

I think (for about the twelfth trillion time tyiuve been told this) you really ought to practise what you preach about your news sources and what others should read when you preach the same political message all the time 😂😂😂

I don't think I can respond reasonably to that.... Forget about who said it and the political climate, if you can't see that was racist then we don't even live on the same planet.

You are out of line with the majority of people in America too, so your opinion doesn't count for much, even if you think it does. You may love the Squad and everything they stand for, but most people don't.

Q Will you be taking any action on Iran *today*?
Trump: “A big event just happened in Iran. A big event.”
Q And what will you be doing about it, sir?
Trump: “A big event.”
Since the above was posted it appears a US warship there shot down an Iranian drone. Whether that was the "big event" Trump spoke of is unclear at the moment.

So, it's 1-1 in the drone wars?

Re: The Donald Trump thread
That ship has, apparently, 2,000 US marines aboard. Also today the US has demanded Iran return a UAE tanker it supposedly pinched.

Since these Iran tensions flared up last month I've taken to sleeping under the bed rather than on it.
It's made more uncomfortable as I wear a bicycle safety helmet.

Interesting!

In Old Norse sources, beings described as trolls dwell in isolated rocks, mountains, or caves.... and are rarely helpful to human beings.

Re: The Donald Trump thread
Are these Iranian shenanigans a distraction from today's latest chapter in the Epstein saga, or are both distractions from something else about to go down the crapper such as Deutsche Bank being flushed?

I have always reckoned that cock-up explains events more accurately than conspiracy.
However, I may just be persuaded by life on mars that the 'horseshoe principle' applies here.
The more 'they' conspire, the more likely they are to cock it up? Although I expect we'll have a different view on who 'they' are.

'They' just have to include at the top the biggest names in banking who have the privilege of creating an infinite amount of currency out of nothing at virtually no cost to loan with interest attached. They have indebted every country on the planet for there is not one amongst the 200 or so which is a creditor nation. The US has a national debt of $22 trillion and is running a trillion dollar budget deficit every year. Their central bank, the Federal Reserve, is privately owned and no-one knows who its shareholders are. The US government borrows money from it at interest instead of creating and issuing debt-free currency itself. Amazing but true, and since its creation in 1913 it has never been independently audited. Which leads in nicely to one of my favourite quotes - “The one aim of these financiers is world control by the creation of inextinguishable debts.” Henry Ford (1932).
