Forget that Jim at the moment, the BBC just reminded me that England are playing tomorrow. Little caption as well:thumbup:

Not sure how Scotlands goal can be credited to McTominay? Clearest own goal you’ll ever see.

Decent performance by Scotland.
Clearly vulnerable at the back and Tierneys tournament is over by the looks but they could even have nicked that.

After the Germany game I doubt I have ever been so apprehensive about any game of football .
The relief is incredible .
Because we are Scotland, we will of course lose to Hungry in the 98th minute .

The ball was originally heading straight towards the goalkeeper. If them’s the rules, the rules are stupid.

I remember hearing a long time ago that they interpret the rules very differently (or at least they did 20+ years ago) in Italian football, and many goals that would get credited to the striker in English football get classed as own goals in Italy.

Just been listening to TV news.
England have already won the comp, others might as well go home now.

You think so? That's odd, because every single English pundit I've heard talking about the competition has expressed reservations, mostly about the team's defence but also about the manager's tactics and team selections.

Why did you omit the first line of bobh's post and make it look like you were quoting his opinion?

Re: EUROS thread. Thursday 20th June 2024.
Being away since the tournament started I've not seen much of the games but I don't mind Ally McCoist on the mike as a general rule, I did see the the Eng. game and i thought like many, J.B had a very good game, the press overkill on him i find a bit more annoying, reporting that he had a great game is warranted and deserved, but don't put so much on his shoulder, he isn't Ronaldo, Messi or Maradona yet.

It did at first, then later in the game the commentator said it had been given to McTominay, which I thought was a strange decision.

Spain v Italy
Or Starmer v Sunak? What's it going to be :sherlock:
