Problem solved - no need for extra bogs, no need for people to worry about pervy men in dresses and no need for adz to accuse everyone of racism (except me of course, my mum and dad are black)
the point about immigrants was a simple misunderstanding but ppl took it out of context.
this thread is transphobic tho

They can do what they like as long as they do not expect others to pay for it - simple:thumbup: and expect us to feel sorry for them - "brave" my arse

no its not. its saying if arthur wants to become martha then they can do it at their own expense. thats not transphobic and its no different from expecting scrunt with small titties to pay for their own mammary enlargements rather than the taxpayer.`

Are you implying if a sex change is the same as cosmetic surgery?
Re: Gender Change................
Yep - just to make them feel better
Also I can imagine soon that they will demand that they can retire at 60!!!!

Except one is a mental health issue while the other is just someone wanting bigger tits (which you can get done on the NHS if it's affecting your wellbeing).
I don't know anything about being transphobic and it's clear neither do the majority of people commenting on this thread with comments like yours.

people have breast augmentation for mental health reasons, not just vanity. i was approaching it from that angle and not why should transgender people not have to pay for it themselves.

Without wanting to be inflammatory, it's affected my life. Happy to say it's been resolved from my end but can't say the same for the fella's wife and kids.
Anyway, crack on with your "right on" left viewpoint of this. I'll be happy to be silent from here. (Which is often mistaken as an ignorant bigot)

I haven't called anyone an ignorant bigot for a start. My view is that we should let live as long as it doesn't harm anyone else. If someone wants the NHS to pay for their operation but are doing it for fame or to show off then they should pay for it themselves. It is my view that some people are from a very early age genuinely very unhappy and uncomfortable in their bodies and go through hell. In the those circumstances I don't see why they can't have the OP under the NHS.
