if we had players who wanted to leave and they had a release clause that could be activated then I'm sure their agents would have made that known by now if they had any sense

Doesn’t sound as sexy though, Des. Especially to the stat obsessed nerds like RJK.

Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
So, would be nice for us to start doing business with this new manager. Reading and Bolton have already got a few through the door, they look like decent contenders this year so far.

The next stage after arriving in the building at Cardiff is the physio room rather than the grass and then it is time spent on protocols before getting on the grass
It's the "Cardiff way"

I thought you were going to say in the physio room & stay there for 3 years!

Purposefully didn't give a timescale because as we know we are an inclusive club who takes all sorts so they could as you say, not be seen for three years or be seen for a couple of games and then not seen for extensive periods and anywhere in-between
We are a club that do not discriminate and I for one am proud of that 👍

Re: The Transfer Rumour Thread
Have we ever had a quieter transfer rumours thread? Contracts up in less than a week and who knows whether we’re in the running to sign any one:shrug:

It is all quiet on the transfer front (for us anyway).

In fairness I don't really expect us to be doing much.
I think the goal (and one of the big reasons BBM was appointed) was to build a side around that core of young(er) players that are already here.
There's probably 3 or 4 that have asked to leave and possibly 1 or 2 that will attract interest, and our business will probably revolve around replacing those if and when they leave.
Bear in mind too that Dalman has already said they wanted to cut the size of the squad, and it was unlikely the out of contract players would be replaced.
Of course, whether or not this is the right approach is up for debate, but it explains why our transfer activity is so quiet.
