It would appear that you have given yourself this imaginary opportunity to enhance your own image via this platform.
If you want full disclosure of the chatter , get yourself down to the meetings forthcoming in 2026. IÂ’ll even wear a name badge if you would prefer and IÂ’m sure we could get a better picture of it so you donÂ’t spin it.
I owe you an apology as I was talking at cross-purposes and that the "chatter" you referenced was the Chair of the Trust as a multi rather than broader views on the adequacy of the Trust.
That said, I have no idea what you are referring to about posters like me having access to why people are banned. Perhaps you could explain your reasoning.
For my two-pennyworth on the broader issue.
Perhaps we need to define a common goal. Let's say "A financially viable and stable progressive football club where fans views have appropriate weight in club decision making".
It is a legitimate view whether that goal will be achieved whilst Tan is in control. The chatter appears to be that the Trust is not forceful enough in pushing for Tan's departure so the Leadership needs to step aside for those who will.
The difficulty I have with that suggestion is that those making it seem to have sufficient avenues for that to be heard already. Key advocates have been pushing that line via Petitions, Fans Parliament and the SLO meetings. Indeed Canton Stand Blue appears to have direct access to Ken Choo for private chats where these points are being made. Yet the dial has not quivered.
In all of this we have not heard anything about what the Trust should look like and what its future priorities should be under a change of Leadership. The chatter seems to focus on a distaste for the Chair and vague assertions about a "closed shop".
It was a shame that having marched the troops up to the top of the hill that those potential new leaders were unable to follow through with their resolution. Hopefully at the meeting there will be greater clarity on the points above and people are able to rally around a positive agenda for change rather than the rather negative "chatter" we have seen to date.

Clearly , I don’t want to upset you or anyone else with my “ chatter “ as it could be without foundation. I hope you feel better soon though.
Feeling much better thank you, especially now you've clarified so much, particularly recognising that your "chatter" could be without foundation. It's always good to recognise our mistakes.
I will remain patient and look forward to hearing your marvellous ideas fleshed out at next year's meetings.

Clearly the ideas WE bring to the table are going to better than the current situation. If you’re an existing trust member you haven’t been doing anything spectacular for years. The tea and biscuits must be sufficient for many.
I’ve never known so many people get rattled by an upsurge in membership . That suggests that change is coming and is long overdue. Watch this space.

Clearly if there was anything clear about your posts then us rattled Trust members would be sitting back with our tea and biscuits rather than probing you and your friends for more details.
The last time I remember being promised so much with nothing actually happening was back in the summer when we were told a takeover was imminent.
I've already admitted to being a lazy git Trust member hence why I admire and am grateful to those who put themselves forward. Maybe one day you'll be someone that will earn that gratitude. However sniping at people currently in post is not a good tactic and is the reason you'll find kickback coming your way.

Why are you trying to make new members feel uncomfortable about raising valid points?
There is plenty of chatter circulating, but do you think this forum is the correct place to raise issues. As I’ve said there is an AGM in May , and this is the best time to get points and new ideas accross.
Pushback - :hehe: You’re digging yourself a big hole, and you’re sounding like a loser.

Where do we find this world of 'chatter'? I haven't come across it yet, and I feel I'm missing out!
-
Re: Sent out to Trust members this morning.
Mr Ducie, if I'm making new members feel uncomfortable about raising valid points and current members are feeling rattled then that seems like everyone is losing out. Surley new members raising valid points have stiff enough backbones to withstand a bit of probing. If they don't then how will they be able to convert their "chatter" into campaigns to win Trust board positions?
I'm gutted that I've come across as a loser after I've tried so hard to earn your respect. Also I agree this is probably the wrong venue for these discussions, after all if you accuse someone of using multiple identities on another message board you probably will get lots of agreement and have no one ask uncomfortable questions.
By the way re the repeated claims about the Trust being a closed shop, I thought I'd better check if my memory is failing me and I've been duped by the Trust board. I looked back at freely available (I didn't have to log in) meeting minutes from the Trust website. You'll see below that the Trust chairman is doing a crap job at keeping the shop closed. What's he doing inviting people from FAB along to meetings with the club. Tsk, tsk.
Present: Mehmet Dalman, Ken Choo, CCST Board Members Keith Morgan, Mike Spear, Jeremy Williams, Phillip Nifield, Gareth Williams and Trust Board Secretary Rob Jeffery along with invited Fans Advisory Board (FAB) members Mike Weedon, Vince Alm and Kieran Jones.
Dear Member
You will recall from our email to you on Monday, 23 September, after the dismissal of Erol Bulut I mentioned that I would be seeking for the Trust Board to meet with the club to discuss how the club is intending to move forward. At 10.00 am yesterday I had a notification that my request was acceded to and the meeting was scheduled for 4pm via Zoom. Had I had more notice than just six hours I would have emailed all members to ask them for questions so that I might represent your views but the short notice rendered it impossible. For inclusivity purposes, I invited 3 members of the FAB so that other fans’ Groups could participate.

I’ve told you in a previous post , it’s best to agree to disagree. I might be wrong but there already appears to be some kind of breakdown in communication and a lack of understanding in respect of what issues are being “chatted”about amongst my peers. These issues will be raised in the next AGM.
The impression I’m getting from you is not a good one. What is your role within the Trust please ?

(1). What role do you see yourself playing in the trust in the future?
(2). Totally hypothetical but if you attained a bit of a ‘shout’, what would your ‘manifesto’ be?
I assume you have a myriad of ideas/suggestions seeing as you’ve put your head above the parapet. Are you willing to share what you’d change/introduce or are you keeping your powder dry due to the extremity of them?

Why can't you state what this 'chatter' is all about? It seems convincing enough to enable you to call someone a liar on here but you seem reticent to share it with us. And have you made any effort to verify the 'chatter' concerned regarding the 'multi' accusation?
This is all rather nebulous and evasive when a person's integrity is at stake.
-
Re: Sent out to Trust members this morning.
Now you've got me Mr Ducie. You're wanting to agree to disagree but invite me to reply. Here goes.
You say there's been a breakdown in communication yet I've done my best to provide information to answer points you have raised in this and other threads e.g. closed shops whereas you have asked people to wait til next May and not provided specifics about e.g. closed shops and multiple identities.
Again I say I'm disappointed that you and fellow new members have withdrawn your SGM proposal because I was looking forward to hearing your points of view directly. It would have been very instructive. If they're put over well I might think about voting for them in may.
Again I don't care about your impression of me. I'm not seeking to persuade anyone about changing the Trust's direction. I'm sure you've given everyone reading this an impression of what you're all about inspite of the lack of detail.
My role within the Trust since its inception is ordinary member, as I again state, I am a lazy so and so. I know nobody on the Trust board other than what I read in election blurb. Also I know no one on this message board and have rarely posted until recently e.g. I've been disagreeing with TLG a lot of late. He nearly always puts forward thought provoking and interesting arguments. I continue to disagree with him but enjoy the discussion.
Hope that helps.

Out of interest what NEW ideas have the current members introduced, as some NEW items in their manifesto are years old and some were the brainchild of a poster on this board who hasn’t been a member for years.
The museum for example has been in the pipeline for three years and the club are mainly behind I this as it will be part of the existing infrastructure.
One good thing appears to be the Trust have awoken from their slumber and have done more in three weeks than what they have done in years.
The current trust remind me of the old Welsh F.A.
Fresh ideas is what most new members want as there are only 8 seats filled out of 12. Surely a full board of 12 would be the best choice for everyone.

I was asking you questions (1) & (2) though out of interest, as I say, you’ve put your head above the parapet. You’ve, more or less, expressed your dissatisfaction with the current set up. What would you propose to improve, shake up or completely change tack? Second time I’ve posted the questions, if you can’t/won’t answer I’m buggered if I can word my enquiry differently :hehe: Answering with the perceived failings of the current incumbents doesn’t answer my question to you.

We have ideas to put forward in the next AGM. This board is not conducive to a fair discussion if you read back through this thread it’s very clear that offering a different approach appears unwelcome to many.

Not read much of the rest of the thread, so might be an obvious question, but who's "we" in this context?

Pardon my ignorance about you Mr Ducie. I've just noticed that you're a regular contributor on another CCFC board. Do you find you get a fair discussion on that one? It's a shame that people can't listen to points of view other than ones they already agree with. Maybe the other board is more even handed. I haven't searched that one so can't really tell.
Good luck with your modernisation attempts.

So the crux of it all is you’ve spent a fair bit of time on here on this thread saying bugger all in your favour whilst having a dig at the trust at every opportunity. State your and the ‘we’ that you’ve mentioned ideas and suggestions on here, what’s the big problem? I’ve posted on here for years and had many disagreements, many different points of view, many suggestions ridiculed, one or two, and I mean, one or two applauded. What was the point of you even posting if you never intended to state your intentions? Or are your earth shattering revelations too revolutionary and groundbreaking to announce unless you’ve got an actual physical audience? Or are you worried that the replies would shoot every notion of yours down in flames, whereas in person you may get a few sympathetic souls feeling sorry for you, giving you a smoother ride?

Having a dig , more like pointing out a few observations.
I’m not bothered in the slightest what you or anyone else thinks about the matters raised in this thread , and I’m certainly not looking for validation especially from faceless individuals who frequent these kind of places.
It’s predictable how this thread is going so I’m not going to pursue it any further.

The Trust have been requesting the club to try and advance the museum project and got to see the area set aside for it at the time. To be fair Steve Borley and Wayne Nash even followed up a Trust suggestion to acquire exhibits for it at an auction and they travelled all the way over to East Anglia to do so despite knowing that the project couldn`t be completed in the short term due to financial constraints.
The project has only very recently been resurrected as an initiative through the Cardiff City Foundation and the Trust was invited by the Foundation to get involved as the project develops.
To clarify again, the maximum number of Trust board members allowed under our election rules (published on the Trust website)_is 9 not 12

No, obviously looking for validation from faceless individuals over on another kind of place

Your comment about 'faceless individuals' is very ironic as you have made an accusation without being able to back it up and despite numerous requests.
You don't seem to be doing much of a PR job for whatever group you may or not represent.

Expected reply …. Why should I disclose any information on a football forum when we will have ample opportunity in the next AGM using the correct channels, what is it you are not getting?
The outcome of this debate has gone as expected :hehe:

You made an accusation and should have the good grace to back it up. Simple as that.
