Do we have a scout living opposite Ashton Gate or something? Even our European signings have connections to the Wurzels.

Can’t see what Roberts would bring to the party but Nunnely would offer something different.

Linked (along with others) with Everton CB Jarad Brantwaite. Think we were interested before he went to Everton as a kid.

Re: Bluebirds transfer rumours
If the rumours are true Ralls was waiting to see our signings before committing to the club I wonder what he thinks now given the Bale situation.

Although I notice that went up 3 days ago and no other 'source' has bothered to amplify it!
(Transfer Centre 9)

They're also claiming Kieffer Moore is going to Sheff Utd for 350k...
I think we can file this rumour under "unlikely at best"

If Bale was at the training ground on Tuesday(?) doing his LAFC medical, he'd have known. I doubt this has come as any surprise to anyone at the club.

Clearly a talent but in the games he played in the Nations League he was tops vs Poland but bang average vs the Netherlands. Still Man Utd extended his contract presumably to get a loan fee as he was highly rated up at Dundee Utd. Probably more experienced than Tommy Doyle and well worth a punt if we can get him.

We’ve paid fees for Tanner (believed to be about £40k) and Romeo (judging by Millwall’s recent spending, it.seems we paid about £3 million for him, but I think maybe a couple of hundred grand is more realistic).
If we’re looking to bring in five loan signings, my guess is that we’ll be spending a seven figure sum in loan fees.

WOL reported that the Mahlon Romeo transfer was 'understood' to be a free - despite being announced at both ends as 'undisclosed'.

£3 million!? I’d be amazed and appalled if we spent that sort of money on a single non-forward with the rebuild we are going through. Where did that figure come from, Bob?

We've still got the other player abroad that SM had a facetime end of last season :hehe:.
Add some loans in.. and we'll have a big old squad!
I wonder what happened to this centre back

Bluebirds' stance on Paddy Lane
Cardiff City have made enquiries about Fleetwood Town youngster Paddy Lane but are not actively pursuing a transfer, WalesOnline has been told.
Reports on Monday stated that Cardiff and Hearts were interested in the 21-year-old Northern Ireland international, with West Ham having previously scouted the midfielder.
However, while Cardiff had taken an initial look at the player, it quickly became apparent Fleetwood's demands far outweighed where Cardiff valued him.
Lane was named the League One player of the year last season, but given it is his first season at that level of football the asking price for his signature was thought to be inflated in the current market, so Cardiff won't be pursuing further.

Re: Bluebirds transfer rumours
Watford and Millwall supposed to be chasing KV Kortrijk forward Pape Habib Gueye - valued at £2m
https://www.footballinsider247.com/s...mid-2m-reveal/
Does Vincent Tan still own Kortrijk?
Are we still able to do sweetheart loan deals (or transfers) with them (like Ken Zohore)?
I have never heard of him before - but his record is 11 goals and 4 assists in 51 games - Belgian top division.

Doesn't seem much but if a 20 goal striker is out of the price range then I assume you look for someone who'll become a 20 goal striker. How one is meant to judge a player in that way I've no idea. Expected expected goals?

yes I believe tan still owns Kortrijk
that's an interesting one, I wonder if we could put together a move that will suit both clubs...
if he comes here for a season on loan and does well in the championship then they will be able to get a lot more than 2m for him.
we could perhaps send them Collins or Watters in return
seems as though he's tall and quick, wins quite a few balls in the air but also gives the ball away a fair amount.
but if Watford and Millwall are interested then there must be something about him

Damn it. Judging by YouTube highlights only, he would have instantly become the best finisher in our team.
Tan you like big long football goals right? Get the cheque out for Paddy.
