Not seeing WalesOnline confirm it's Buckingham, only say he's the clear favourite. The Daily Fail is saying the Murphy talks are advancing, seems like there's more to it, but then again, it is the Fail.
If this isn't sorted by Friday night, I'm going to drive my head through concrete blocks.
While there are several Championship and League 1 manager vacancies open, I can see City having problems getting one of the aforementioned candidates to commit to Cardiff City. I'm guessing they all see Plymouth etc. as a better option.. [maybe they've all used the same 'consultants']
What a load of utter waffle!!
I thought it was about playing Chesterfield in a pre season friendly
Think it's going to be Murphy then. Would have preferred Buckingham, as Murphy is a bit more of a gamble, but could have some fire in his belly which is what the club needs right now.
Having failed at Rochdale I guess it would have to be a manager who is unlikely to be given a chance elsewhere plus is willing to have his ear bent by the owner on how to run the team.
Don't want to name my source or appear itk but it's definitely not going to be Ramsey.
So the statement re. the recruitment process was released around 17.30pm yesterday and the announcement of the offer to BBM came around 11am today - in essence a couple of hours later. I suspect they wrote that to fit BBM's profile, not the other way round.
