Funnily enough, I've only ever seen one u-19 international and Isaak Davies came on in that. It was against Russia at Leckwith in 2019. There were a few other City lads involved (Sam Bowen, Keenan Patten, Harry Pinchard and Dan Griffiths) in a 2-2 draw.

Neco Williams scored a couple of penalties on the day we appointed Neil Harris as manager I believe. Wales won that mini tournament against three countries I was going to say we’re behind the old Iron Curtain, but I’m now thinking one of them may have been Turkey (who we beat 1-0 or 2:1) I can remember we beat Poland 3-0 at Rodney Parade with Patten getting one of the goals.Quote:

A couple of the latest batch have been able to make a mark in League One this season. It remains to be seen how they’ll do in the Championship, or if those who have been out on loan will go on to make the grade. I’m hopeful in a couple of cases, but they won’t all thrive at Championship level or above, that’s for sure.
