I wonder if any of those are off to Blackburn

Think Benjamin may be injured as he’s not played for a few weeks, I think the guy we signed from Spurs last week may make the squad, can’t see Crole making it either, but the others named may be in the twenty.

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Benjamin is the co commentator for today’s game, says he’s been injured for two or three weeks, but is now back in training.

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Dabono shown a red card for a rash tackle after he let the ball get away from him - probably the right decision given the way things are interpreted today in senior football, but I thought it was harsh in a game like this.

Evans and Ashford would be, one might start. Colwill definitely could as well.
I can't imagine they'd risk the regulars and we have quite a few injuries out wide.

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
1-0 to Millwall at half time. It’s a bit like watching Sunday’s game because we’re having little of the ball and we’re spending nearly all of the time defending, but it’s wrong to expect anything else when you’re having to play over eighty per cent of the game with a one man disadvantage.

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Finished 1-0 to Millwall, but great credit to City for being the better side in the second half and taking the game to Millwall despite their one man disadvantage. City had a great chance to equalise in the last minute when Nyakuwha did well to win a penalty which he elected to take himself. The problem was that he’d looked out on his feet in the quarter of an hour or so beforehand and it wasn’t a surprise to see his spot kick saved.
Was very impressed by Kyle Kenniford in midfield and Mafico did very well also.
Ref was hopeless.

It has been reported on Twitter that Luey Giles has travelled with the 1st team to Blackburn

You'd think that Evans may get a game with Grant's injury.

Under 21s 2-0 down at half time.
-
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
5-2 defeat. Joel Colwill and Fin Johnson on the score sheet.
I know it's not all about results at that level, but, bottom of the table, won 1, drawn 2, lost 4, -10 goal difference - not great.
-
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Bit of a thumping for the under 21s, finished 5-2 to Ipswich.
In mitigation, it does seem a very young squad this season.

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
The first year scholars are kicking off at 11am this morning home at Leckwith Stadium
Several of the lads have been chosen to play for Wales and will be away for the next ten days the one age group playing matches in Montenegro the other in Israel
Not sure how many of you have seen the news this morning but Palestine have launched over 2500 rockets into Israel half six this morning
It’s all kicking off big time
Decisions need to be made within the Welsh FA regarding the trip?
-
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
City 1-0 up against Ipswich around midway through the second half thanks to a Will Spiers goal.

Apparently, it’s been confirmed by the FAW that the matches are off.
