Globally, 5 083 173 deaths (95% empirical CI [eCI] 4 087 967–5 965 520) were associated with non-optimal temperatures per year, accounting for 9·43% (95% eCI 7·58–11·07) of all deaths (8·52% [6·19–10·47] were cold-related and 0·91% [0·56–1·36] were heat-related). There were 74 temperature-related excess deaths per 100 000 residents (95% eCI 60–87). The mortality burden varied geographically. Of all excess deaths, 2 617 322 (51·49%) occurred in Asia. Eastern Europe had the highest heat-related excess death rate and Sub-Saharan Africa had the highest cold-related excess death rate. From 2000–03 to 2016–19, the global cold-related excess death ratio changed by −0·51 percentage points (95% eCI −0·61 to −0·42) and the global heat-related excess death ratio increased by 0·21 percentage points (0·13–0·31), leading to a net reduction in the overall ratio. The largest decline in overall excess death ratio occurred in South-eastern Asia, whereas excess death ratio fluctuated in Southern Asia and Europe.
I also remember a poster who was so obsessed with Trump that for a few months he posted ludicrous "Stop the Steal" fantasies, none of which had any credence. I often wonder what happened to him.
Why would you wonder about other posters whereabouts out of interest ?

He's probably concerned for their mental health. We are such a caring community here.

The problem with following the Science is that not every scientist pedals out has the same opinion
and just by chance!!! those who don't, get the silent treatment, a once previous lauded scientist when saying the right
thing, had the temerity to say hold on a minute!!! is lauded no more, a bit like the alternative C19 scientists.

Is the Earth a globe, is the sun at the centre of our solar system?
If you think no to either of those, you shouldn't really have an opinion on climate change.

So for those who've seen this without context, heathblue hinted at the earth being flat and said I'd been brainwashed because I thought the sun was at the centre of our solar system.
Remember when you talk to climate change denialists these are the type of people they are.
Apparently I'm a Fascist for asking someone if the earth is a globe, incredible stuff.

As long as you keep posting utter rubbish I will keep asking, you will keep avoiding the question, you will deflect, you will rant about how you know more about triple glazing windows than me therefore I'm a hypocrite, you will say you know the answer but won't tell me.
We all know it's because you cannot answer, because your opinion is based on nothing.
The 7 hottest days in the last 100,000 years have all been in the last month and if that doesn't wake people like you up nothing will.

First of all weather temperatures and climate change are 2 different things
the 7'th hottest day in the last 100,000 years ?
First of all, it is worth bearing in mind that any data on global temperatures before about 150 years ago is an estimate, a reconstruction based on second-hand evidence such as ice cores and isotopic ratios. The evidence becomes sparser the further back we look, and its interpretation often involves a set of assumptions. In other words, a fair amount of guesswork.
lets talk about warm temperatures
If you think the Earth is hot now, try wearing plate armor in the Middle Ages.
A Swedish study found that the planet was warmer in ancient Roman times and the Middle Ages than today, challenging the mainstream idea that man-made greenhouse gas emissions are the main drivers of global warming.
The study, by scientist Leif Kullman, analyzed 455 “radiocarbon-dated mega-fossils” in theScandes mountains and found that tree lines for different species of trees were higher during the Roman and Medieval times than they are today. Not only that, but the temperatures were higher as well
Lets talk about cold temperatures
There have been at least five significant ice ages in Earth’s history, with approximately a dozen epochs of glacial expansion occurring in the past 1 million years
don't think we mined coal or dug for oil in hotter or colder temperatures during those times looking back in history
some food for thought..............

The link I posted is more my way of thinking , if you don’t like it , that’s fine with me.
Here it is again https://x.com/blmcguire1/status/1691...LhmySD2aRt-GNg
Once again, the amazing question you keep going on about has been researched by myself, via google - just like you would have done , also it’s becoming very clear that you don’t really have a clue and are ignorant to the fact that I deal with net zero issues weekly ( see post regarding a site I have visited recently)
Buzz off and bother someone else as I don’t have the time or crayons for zealots.

And the answer is......?
You keep repeating the bold part but you still won't answer and then scream about crayons or triple glazing or about how you don't have time (about the 5th time you've told me you don't have time).
I don't think you even understand the question.

What is the physical process that scientists say cause man made climate change and what do you disagree with that process?
Why can none of you even attempt to answer this? None of what you've said has anything to do with what I've asked.

What is it with posters like you ( and there are few of them) can’t you just accept different opinions ?
The link I’ve provided is what I think , and there is nothing further to add.
For reference, the fact that you have just got into installing 30 year old tech really tells me everything I need to know about you. I’ve also provided you a link previously for you to calculate your carbon footprint, and I bet you a small wager Suggesting mine will be lower than yours. To date I’ve not had a response.
What are you going to go when the climate agenda pivots to something else , research google and ask people to provide an answer to the exact same thing you have just googled yourself ? :hehe:
Your trying too hard to fit in with the current narrative and it’s hilarious.
Oh and with regards to your question can you provide the answer so I can cross check it with the one I found on the internet, if so,it would be appreciated

What on earth are you rambling about when you say 30 year old tech?
I'm asking you why you disagree with the phsyical process that scientists say is causing man made climate change, I agree with the science, you don't, so it's up to you to provide the answer (there isn't one because carbon dioxide and methane does cause a greenhouse effect). So the part in bold makes no sense, I've got no idea what you've found.
I'm still convinced you don't actually understand the question.

I bet you were it even aware of this question six months ago , but it’s your party trick, no doubt you will use it for your best man’s wedding.
The government propaganda is designed for people like you. No doubt you followed all the instructions from behavioural scientists over the last few years as well.
