Speaking from my position of impartiality, it could go either way, but we should know which way pretty soon. Linsey Graham is another unknown quantity, he is also in a very powerful position, and Adam Schiff is still up to his old tricks. The entire thing would make for a perfectly scripted TV drama, and it wouldn't need any editing!

Re: The Donald Trump thread
Seeing Donald Trump Jnr's name on that list made me wonder how bloody confusing it must be in households where male progeny are named after their fathers. And DJ Jnr has a son who is known as Donald Trump III! It could go on for ever.

You might be concerned with just one story, but I'm not. There may or may not have been collusion with Russia and there may or may not have been a plan by what you call globalists to keep him from winning the Presidency at all costs, but Trump's character defects will always make him unfit for the position he holds as far as I'm concerned.

Sometimes you need a human wrecking ball to solve a problem, if it can't be solved any other way.

There were two options, my bias towards Trump has nothing to do with approval of him, but her character deflects outweighed his by a distance, pure evil and more, I'm not glad he won, I'm ecstatic she lost, I'd like to see him go further but the declass stuff seems just posture, i read a piece earlier as to why he's holding back, maybe, we'll see. The amount of abuse he gets from the press indicates he's not one of them but you don't become a zillionaire IMO without being dirty, I'm gob smacked they have not found the ticking bomb and have had to result in just failed scams, perhaps he is clean ? :hehe:

Like yourself, I never suggested anything but posted the words of someone else

He just has to clean house and leave when he has finished, then let history be the judge. It's not a likability contest.

Re: The Donald Trump thread
The justifications posted by Trump apologists yesterday are just so feeble and reveal a couple of things.
1. The "why hasn't he been impeached yet" line, which is increasingly being heard from pro Trump posters, only confirms their own doubts about their man - it's almost as if they were expecting it themselves.
2. Their double standards when it comes to the way they let allegations/stories pass against the President without comment compared to how they post endless links to anything which reflects Democrats/globalists/Fabian Society or whatever they are being called this week in a bad way.
Maybe Trump is really "draining the swamp", but, if he is, it's merely a case of replacing one swamp with another one.

Isn't this exactly why Cohen is going to jail?

Cohen directed attorney to seek possible Trump pardon following FBI raid
https://thehill.com/policy/national-...-with-giuliani
It's hard to keep up with this guy! Cohen told the Oversight Committee last week: “I have never asked for, nor would I accept, a pardon from Mr. Trump.”

It was supposed to be an open and shut case according to the world's most prestigious news agencies. They had multiple intel agencies monitoring everything including voice and data comms, plus a special counsel on the job, and still nothing?

Well it's an ongoing investigation, we don't know what they will find. They might even review newer deals if they find any wrongdoing. Things like this don't usually happen in isolation.

I know, less posts in 2019 than you have had flounces. My New Years' resolution was to do some exercise every time you posted some nonsense instead of rubbishing it. To my eternal shame I only lost two stone!

Based on that criteria you must have a shape like Daniel Craig in Casino Royale now 😂

Can we bring back the on this day thread? It's nice to see how gluey's breaking news has turned out.
I've got a fiver on him getting something right, and I hope to claim it before brexit crashes sterling.

I'm surprised you are up for this, your posting history is one long howler!
