A couple of things to take from that. Ashford and Turnbull only played 65 minutes, par for the course for players who are expected to be involved in the next first team squad, so it's interesting that Kpakio also came off then. Reindorf played the whole game, which suggests he won't be involved on Saturday, but I reckon he could play 90 minutes every day of the week and still run home after so I won't rule him out yet.
Also interesting that Will Spiers started today ahead of Jefferies and Nyakuhwa. Spiers is a right back but had an excellent half an hour or so on the wing against Merthyr last week and maybe we're looking to see if he can do that consistently. His pitch time as a right back will be limited with Kpakio there so it's a way of getting both in the team. Two left backs there too with Luey Giles at centre half for now and Tom Davies at left back.
With Josh Beecher out on loan it would seem we've sorted a way of getting all our full backs at that level some pitch time but Jac Thomas will be knocking on the door before long too. Captained the Academy on Saturday and came up with an unusual goal for a full back. It's our first here, a couple for Jake Davies too (our number 10). I haven't seen Dan Ola (9) play but he seems to offer something different.

Disappointing but Sheffield United are top of their section with five wins and a draw from six games and a goal difference of 21. They've only let in three so far and two of those were in an 8-2 win over Watford, they also beat Brentford and QPR 6-0 so I won't be shouting Purse Out at the Ipswich game on Tuesday if I make it.Quote:
