The only way you can get what you want is by taking control of parliament through the ballot box, without any involvement from the EU. I don't think your fellow citizens are up to the task though.

I disagree, it is far easier to stand up to the big business interests and the tax loophole exploiters as part of the EU. As a stand alone nation we would end up as a thatcherite tax haven.

How could you if you were running parliament and making the laws?

As long as they were Aryan, yes.

Since WWII we have had 44 years of Tory government, compared to 30 of labour (of which almost half was tory-lite new labour).
There is nothing to suggest that the UK would elect a socialist government any time soon, especially if Scotland decides to leave in the event of a no deal.
95% of the times the UK has used it's vetoing powers in Europe has been to oppose the closing of tax loopholes, so we can remain the money laundering venue of choice.
I have even less faith that a UK government of any colour will match the EU infrastructure spending in wales

Exactly why I think we need to remain, wait until the tories redraw where the constituency boundaries are too soon after we leave. Perpetual Tory governments for the foreseeable future.

Over the last 40 years of GEs, the Tories have won every time (in some form) except for Blair's victories, which were as you say Tories-lite.
The 'we can always vote them out' line has no basis in reality. The Tories or a form of Toryism has been in charge since before I was born, and it will be the majority of my life, I'm sure of that.

So he didnt invade and want to control the rest of Europe then, to make them part of his German Empire. Dont need to read a history book but you definitely need a dose of reality. The unelected EU beaurocrats just want to form the state of Europe and line their own (and their cronies) pockets. Their thirst for power is insatiable. How anyone in their right mind can want to be part of their utterley discredited cabal is incomprehensble. It has gone way beyond the common market deal that the UK originally voted for.

Have you ever heard of false equivalency?

I’m sorry but all this is utter bollocks. It’s like a Daily express story created by a bot that’s been reading the express for a year.
The phrases in it are so textbook it’s painful.

Speaking of lining pockets, why do you think Rees-Mogg, Farage and others are so desperate to leave?

Like I said, your fellow citizens haven't got a clue how to organise themselves, and keep on voting like lemmings for Labour or Conservative. And now the solution to this ineptitude is to give away power to Europe?

He wanted to unite the German speaking nations and then expand eastwards for additional room for the "superior" Germanic people. Any non German people living there (Russians, poles, Slavs, Jews, etc) would have been deported or murdered.
How is that in any way like the EU?

Re: Stay in the EU petition
It’s weird to me that the word beaurocracy has become such a dirty word. When the media moan about that they’re normally talking about thing a like food standards, health and safety, human rights etc which have all for the most part been great for the citizens of the U.K.

What human rights? They beat people up in France and Spain who dare to protest!

Having lived in France they’d have to have 60 million police on the streets every day of the year if they weren’t respecting people’s rights to protest.
If you trust a Tory government with your human rights more even after what they’ve done to legal aid more fool you.
Again for the slow, no one is saying the EU is perfect or infaliable.
