Shrewsbury returned the upper tier tickets I just read. We should have around 8000, I just hope it doesn’t get moved to Friday or Monday nights

Re: Fa Cup 4th Round - LIVERPOOL AWAY
This will be popular and hope we get and take the full allocation, especially as we will likely still be barred from our own ground.

Re: Fa Cup 4th Round - LIVERPOOL AWAY
Apparently the AFCON final is the same weekend as the 4th round so fingers crossed for an Egypt v Senegal final….🤞

I was thinking just that.
Is it half gate receipts?
TV money too?

It always used to be unless it’s changed .

Re: Fa Cup 4th Round - LIVERPOOL AWAY
About 5600 tickets looking at Shrewsbury’s allocation today

Both home and away teams for every tie of the FA Cup get 45% of gate receipt revenue each.

Excellent news. The Anfield Road stand holds 9,074 so I’d imagine we get the whole thing bar a few hundred seats for segregation.

I assume WG are compensating both clubs for today? I wonder how much.

The FA. The 45% for each team is after deduction of the Home club's expenses.

Liverpool will put out a side full of kids. We will hammer them. Chelsea-Cardiff in the final.

Re: Fa Cup 4th Round - LIVERPOOL AWAY
Send the kids to Anfield. It'll be a great experience for them.

The Liverpool game is the same weekend as wales first home game in 6 nations.
Under current rules you could have 100k people from (mainly) South Wales travelling to watch sport in England on buses, trains and coaches etc under no restrictions while in Wales it's illegal for Barry town to have 51 people outside watching in a 3000 capacity stadium (fortunately far more than that can watch inside from the bar).
Edit maybe more than 100k as I forget about all the South walian Liverpool fans who will be going also......

Re: Fa Cup 4th Round - LIVERPOOL AWAY
From dull and uninspiring to excited at the draw in the space of about half an hour!
Anfield's expanded since the League Cup game and I believe you get more tickets in the FA Cup?

They were planning to use Preston stubs but the WAG had other ideas.
