I know lads that are working away and going to this game, not all of them city fans either, just lads going for the craic and something to do on an otherwise boring Tuesday in the Midlands.

Rebecca Welch, we had her before, she was awful. Either way I can’t see us getting anything up there even with our away form

I do too, quite cavalier.
However, as you said, it's not going to happen.

Re: WEST BROMWICH ALBION v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Seems rare recently for away tickets to be sold at the ground on the day. Can’t recall it being done too many times this season or last.

I don't think so either but he's played with 3 CB quite a lot before he came here, and I think he was a wing back as a player. I just think a formation tweak might help our lack of goals

I like your team selection.
However, I feel there would be no in between - we'd either romp to victory or get thumped. :hehe:

Wingbacks, three in midfield. Meite up top with Colwill playing 10.
I'd like to see something like that. Need to change. Let's try a different formation.

That's whats needed. Our wingers have been crap, so better to load up midfield.
Not hopeful of a result. We don't draw many matches either, so 2-0 win to a WBA side are doing well despite a plethora of injuries. Shows what can be done.

He had a knock Sat, while it's not been officially announced, I don't think, speculation has been rife last couple of days about him being out.

He was holding his knee quite a bit.... be a shame if he misses out though.

Alnwick wasn’t right at Watford either.

Re: WEST BROMWICH ALBION v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Teams out early. Do they realise it’s 8 o’clock kick off?

Re: WEST BROMWICH ALBION v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

All five new signings start.

Re: WEST BROMWICH ALBION v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Same formation but a more promising starting 11 than last time.

Could be a back 5?
People wanted attacking and it seems to be that, midfield looks light weight

It looks more like 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 (or 4 - 1 - 4 - 1) to me with Wilson-Esbrand in front of Collins - but it could be a back 5.
Wintle needs a big game.
Turnbull can play 6, 8 or 10 according to him (and Bulut) but he is clearly more of an attacking midfielder than defensive.
At least it looks like a positive selection on paper.
(The BBC have got their randon formation machine working again - with Wilson-Esbrand as our main striker!)

Looks a little gung ho to me.
Could have been Saturdays team against Preston!
Hurts to say, a win or a hiding I reckon!

Wintle needs someone strong next to him…..

Little I’ve seen of Turnbull im surprise he’s considered anything other than a 10, also Wintle is a comfortable player but not a defensive player. Maybe it will surprise WBA.
Really hope the keeper has a good game, one mistakes and fans will be on his back for some time.

Re: WEST BROMWICH ALBION v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Well, it's the kind of midfield we were all asking for on the weekend... let's hope it's not the wrong game for it and we are on the end of a hiding. Big, physical forward line as well. Very interesting team selection.

Horvath has a west brom shirt on, how odd
