Re: PDC World Darts thread
Williams through 3-1, though that'll be as far as he goes without quite some improvement.

Very humble in his post match interview for someone who just earned himself a tour card.

Yeah, I don't quite know what to make of him. In his last few years at the BDO he was one of their very best players and was favourite at one point to win their last World Championship in 2020. He's been setting up his own joinery business and nearly didn't accept a PDC tour card.
There's another interview with him on twitter where he says he walked off stage feeling he had lost, given how poor he and the game were. He certainly hasn't settled as a PDC player and I have a feeling that if he has a bad year he'll give the game up at this level.

Cracking match. Beaton just edges it.
C'mon the Ferret.

No fairy tale this year, great game but got the jitters at the wrong time, Steve Beaton too professional to fall into any traps.
Cmon Ferret

The TV coverage has been poor. Loads of out shots have been missed by the director.

Re: PDC World Darts thread
Well done the Ferret.
Fair play to that Irish lad. I thought he had it at one stage.
Great game.

Re: PDC World Darts thread
What a game, well played both, 10 x 100+ finishes, 103.7 ave. Great game, great quality Ferret

Wonder if he ever has to give Barney a stiff talking to?

Van Den Bergh out in a belter. Looked like he turned it around, managed to average 101 yet lost the last 6 legs to Hempel!

Only Merv King left as a seed in that section, DvdB, Ratajski & Peterson gone

Wasn't it Lewy Williams hitting single 1?

I always feel a bit sorry for Barney when he loses.
At least he'll take home a % of the highest out shot. (might of made that last bit up)

He's just someone I don't mind watching I'll follow him but doesn't matter to me the end result I'm not gutted of he loses but I'll cheer him on.

Looked like he was fighting a mental battle with himself, didn’t look good. Hope he doesn’t regress to previous issues.

Re: PDC World Darts thread
Ross Smith v Van Duijvenbode is a decent game. RS was 3-0 up. It's now 3-3.
