I’m encouraged by this decision. The Jacks will be thinking “FFS we’ve battered them the last few years and it’s not been televised. You watch us lose 6-0 now it’s on the box”

Buggered for me living in Aberdare with a 10 year old who wants to watch it, unless I drive. The last train of the night is something I'm not prepared to suffer, not with a youngster, particularly when there are lots of works on.
Because it’s the biggest game of our season 9 times out of 10, thus the highest attendances, thus more people in pubs, thus more money spent.
Let’s add on the extra time for drinking and throw in Wales playing an absolute minnow in the RWC.
That’s how I make that out. It’s not hard.
But not on a Saturday evening Paul. Which alters the dynamics in a big way. Swansea fans, although in a bubble, will be slaughtered after watching Rugby WC game or just having a pre game bevy down jackland - what else can they do before getting on their coaches. Many city fans getting tanked up in the City centre and Canton etc as usual pre game activities dictate. However, nearly 5 hours more than usual.
It is a recipe for disaster despite being a bubble.
Add to this the usual mayhem for fans from outside of Cardiff getting home via public transport.
This must be one of the first changes that can not be attributed to Police Advice.
Spedger
My bet is the game will pass relatively trouble free.
People are way over the top, there won’t be any trouble in Cardiff or the stadium. You don’t see a Swansea fan bar in the stadium.
Wales v Portugal in the rugby so a poor game that won’t see many jacks coming down here to watch it.
It’ll pass absolutely fine just like the 5.15 sat night at the liberty did under ole
South Wales Police have it incredibly easy for this Derby
No independent coaches , no train mobs , no small groups in mini buses etc
All they have to do is escort the fans in and out and keep us away from them
Anything that does break out is surely easy to sort
It's not the gaza strip
The FA Cup 1991 in Jack land........the police got completely over run that day
predictions ? i'm going for 7 arrests , 2 of them for wearing a sheep in a public place
I'd agree, Leeds was an example of what can go wrong with bottles of p!ss, lighters, and pound coins (remember them) flying from one side to the other, but with none of those types of fans anywhere near the Swansea end the chances of our fans being involved in that are far less likely. Swansea fans throwing things into the family stand, I wouldn't be at all surprised they've got form for it.
