Sorted.
I don't spend on Single Malts or posh stuff as it would still get the Pepsi treatment.
Do you mix your also mix your champagne with Fruit Shoot?
Re: Any Whisky Drinkers On Here?
Here's a nice blended one I forgot about. Very easy on the throat

Why ruin a fruit shoot? Come to think of it why ruin a glass of water with whisky, God, even the smell of it makes me :puke:

I'm a fan of Islay whisky although happy to drink anything decent.
Currently have 7 bottles including....
Famous Grouse - for visitors who dont know any better
Jamesons - Mother in laws fave
Then the proper drops....
Tamnavulin - Was a gift, not tried yet
Bunnahabhain - Also unopened gift
Bowmore 12 - Got a taste for this when I was in Edinburgh. My session whisky
Laphroag Quarter Cask - Not for the faint hearted
Ardbeg 10 - My personal favourite. Full taste and yet smooth
No water here either.
Have steamed the inside of the glass over the mouth of the kettle on occasion to warm the glass.
Bunnahabhain is my favourite, but I'd be fu***d if I had to ask for it in a bar :hehe:
Re: Any Whisky Drinkers On Here?
I'm quite partial to a nice malt.
Some recommendations would be
Springbank 10
Hazelburn 10
Arran 10
Glenallachie 12
Deanston 10

I was having a read of this thread before heading off to work. Yes - I am one of the poor sods that has to work in the office still. And I saw this in the local Tesco. How bizarre. Bit of a bargain so nabbed one.

Grouse with a mixer.
Single malt aberlour
Been to the Penderyn factor tour thing and enjoyed that.
Got a 12 year American Eagle bourbon at the moment which is very nice.

Re: Any Whisky Drinkers On Here?
Was on a coach trip to Scotland few years back and one of the excursions was to the Oban whisky distillery. On arrival we were all given a wee dram of the stuff and I noticed lot of the old dears put there glasses to one side. Now I thought it would be rude to waste it. Needless to say i don't remember much about the tour and fell asleep on our return trip to the hotel. 😂

Glenmorangie Original 10YO
Glenmorangie Lasanta (Sherry Cask) 12YO
Lagavulin 8YO
Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14YO
My fave is the Balvenie. I drink it straight, as I don't get 'the water thing'
Anyone got a collection, or particular favorites?
Laphroaig is a nice smoky one.
Glenlivet Distillers Reserve is a really good sipping whisky. About £70 a litre but well worth it. https://tinyurl.com/hpk4cyc6
