Re: Breaking news of an "explosion" at Manchester Arena
I have always felt the exit at these events is open to all kinds of risks , as the doors open early and people can gain entrance , it make me so angry , and so so sad, for these poor families , the world is becoming horrible place .
Manchester has suffered a lot over the years, including the Irish troubles, and the 1996 atrocity.

Re: Breaking news of an "explosion" at Manchester Arena
someone on another forum was at the concert with his 2 daughters, he said the panic was really scary
they stayed overnight in a hotel
his daughters have said they do not want to go to another concert ever
:frown: how sad

Re: Breaking news of an "explosion" at Manchester Arena
RIP all those innocent victims.
What a dreadful thing for all of the families to have to cope with and
live with for the rest of their lives.

Re: Breaking news of an "explosion" at Manchester Arena
This morning I'm seeing on Twitter and Facebook the pictures of teenage girls that have died at a music show, watching an artist they love. I never cry, but this morning is different, it's truly shocking.

Seems this may be how the nutter got in.
Blast was in foyer at end of concert.
Apparently, it could have been worse as the singer went back on stage to do another song, so many stayed/went back inside.
RIP to those innocents who died.

heard 2 people on the news say that they have NO bag search as they went in, surely in todays world, we need bag searches at any sized events, even airport style screening
though of course as discussed on here in the past, the queues would just build up and that becomes a target

Loads of sirens out today, linked to some nobs from cardiff?
Signs were out there early on twitter by the looks of it.

I thought they would have security? The O2 has security and they tell people to arrive in good time
Anyways, this is too shocking, this is so crazy like a concert is a place where you are meant to enjoy the night, make a few new friends, basically have a good time, not to be killed. RIP

You should see their propaganda videos. Plenty of marginals out there, especially if you watch alot of those videos.

I thought about this. 3 approaches out there.
The Corbyn - try to talk to them, make them political
The May/Cameron - Do nothing
The Trump - Bomb the **** out of them and get mideast countries to help too.
Not sure any are good ideas.

Re: Breaking news of an "explosion" at Manchester Arena
How long will it be before some right wing nutters will take "revenge"?
-
Re: Breaking news of an "explosion" at Manchester Arena
Speaking of nutters BBC are reporting people faking that they have lost a loved one in order to get " likes " or " hits " on
Facebook and Twitter.
What is wrong with some people ?

Just had a look at that. The guy in the car was speaking in February regarding Drake's comments on islamophobia.
Nothing to do with last night's shameful act.

Exactly it's not like it's a specific country doing this, it's a group of lunatics aiming propaganda at the weak and evil. There is very little chance of actually stopping it just trying to use intelligence to prevent it.
I've always thought bombing middle eastern countries encourages terrorist. Along with huge gaps of inequality in society. Is their shy wonder terrorist is on the rise currently?

Re: Breaking news of an "explosion" at Manchester Arena
That is enough twitter for today, if not for a long period of time.
A lot of people are finding this funny.
Mainly Trump freaks.
