How many times do you need to be told the bleeding obvious? Turn down the central heating, open a window or two and take off that Liverpool FC bobble hat!

If you lived and worked through summer 1976 you can put up with the summers we get now.

75 was pretty hot, too.
I did my industrial year 75-76, in a "thick" sandwich course, and in the 75 summer I worked in a computer room. Computers in those days were massive beasts, (with about a whole megabyte of store!) and required air con.
When we went for a break we often cut it short so that we could get back out of the heat.

Can you get an extractor fan installed? It sucks out all the hot air from upstairs and draws cooler air from downstairs.

It's not good opening the windows if the air is thick and still

Which bit are you doing? A day walk or a longer section?

If your heading between Mousehole and Newlyn, give a wave to the in-laws as you go passed Paul.
