2. How very interesting you are telling me tonight that the only thing Tan has paid any attention to is the lack of attendance for the Col,U game. You make me laugh. Reason being when I started a thread suggesting we boycott it and deliver allow crowd to send a message, you, as usual, were one of the first to wade in and rubbish it. Nigel, the reason you get stick is precisely because of comments like this. You say "we should've done this or that" but you didn't.
I don't sit in a red seat, I walked straight past the pile of red scarfs, I don't buy merchandise, food or programmes...you've done no more or less to protest against the rebrand than I, or thousands of others have done, yet while it may be unintentional, sometimes your posts do give the impression that you are somehow different to the rest of us who continued to go to games.
I'm clearly not the only one to have picked up on this, can we all be wrong?

Perhaps we should suspend hostilities amongst ourselves for 48 hours.

Fair enough, but I'm not trying to be hostile, just trying to explain why there can be hostilities as I believe that Nigel honestly doesn't realise how some of his posts come across.

Like you, I most certainly am different to all those who did that and it was thousands, not hundreds. That's a reality even if some now make it convenient to be in denial. It doesn't make me better as someone foolishly claimed but it is different.

The real irony is that this poor football is a by product of the very thing we're campaigning about.

You are very proud of your own futile protests (merchandise, etc) whilst being down on the futile protests of others (waving the scarf at 19:27). I don't find the continued criticism of your fellow fans particularly fair. Perhaps you do.

No, it doesn't. Many of my good friends quit back then and we remain friends, I respect them for doing that but only a mass boycott was ever going to,work.
We might be back in blue one day, but how will some fans feel about sitting in a stadium again next to people that they find disgusting?

Tell you what though, the idea of being sat next to you in any place at any time is pretty disgusting.

One other thing I'd questions is the 5,000 City fans in red seats. I've been to every home league game this season and not seen more than a couple of hundred there at any one time. I would imagine 5,000 was a full stand, what game was that? It's not been full for any City game I've seen. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/shrug.gif

The other thing is that people were allowed to sit in the lower ranks of the Ninian Stand for the Wolfsburg - although I'm pretty sure this was a decision made on the day of the game because all of the pre publicity said that only the new stand would be used.
