I'm going to throw Tyrant into the mix, have really enjoyed this series.
I grew up in the 90s and it is one of my favourite series ever

Gomorrah is amazing. I love both Fargo series as well. They're the two I've watched most recently.
I'll give stranger things a go..

Plenty of Columbo repeats on.

Started on Stranger Things last night and just on Episode 4 now the kids have gone up to bed.
Not normally into super natural, prefer crime dramas, but this is excellent.
As said above the sets, music, shots and acting are first class.
Get on it.
Edit agree on Gonorrah is amazing I done both series in about a week earlier this summer. I tried it when series 1 come out but was impatient with the subtitles but my mate said it was really good so gave it another go and got hooked
Loved Fargo Series 1 but couldn't get into 2. Same as True Dectetive.

Re: TV series recommendations
I'm into the shedloads of Nordic Noir series on BBC Four. Far less cliché-ridden than a lot of American series and the production values are fantastic.

Not bad but for me to enjoy a tv series they have to be believable which neither of them were.
6/10 for both.

Yet you believe Russel Slade is a good manager.......
I've downloaded the night of, watched the first three back to back, gripping stuff and very believable so far

Did you find the part where a supposed taxi driver was lost believable?

Yes it's a Netflix original. I am half way through watching it. Not sure that I love it as much as everyone else on here but it's OK. My son says Narcos is superb.

Well for a kick off he wasn't a taxi driver, he'd borrowed the taxi, secondly, New York City taxi drivers don't go "the knowledge" like a Lindon taxi driver, many of them are new to the city. Half the time I get a cab in Cardiff the driver needs a sat nav to get to Thornhill!

Yeah I'm on a 6/10 for Stranger Things having watched the first four "chapters". It could have been so much better without these silly monsters coming out of walls.

Re: TV series recommendations
Just started on Mr Robot very good ,and for something light and snappy try "" life in pieces"" on Amazon Prime.

The guy was not a taxi driver, it was his father who was the taxi driver, he just "borrowed" the taxi to go on a night out, and how do you not find "the night of" unbelievable, you don't think people get wrongly accused? and as for believable shows, it's all about escapism you are missing some very good series if you only watch things that you think are unbelievable

What's "The Night of" about?
The Colonel recommended The People Vs OJ Simpson on here. Binged on that and thought it was great.
Hoping the 3rd True Detective gets close to season one.
Netflix is good value for money at the moment. If it wasn't for the sport, I'd be kicking Sky into touch without hesitation.

Agreed. Still paying £5.99 a month and worth every penny.
