TBF, they may even have been a bunch of 2nd /3rd year S.E of UK students still about over the summer and on the lash.

I currently work with a 'die-hard' Man U supporter but who grew up in S Wales.
He says the ManU thing started as a kid - liked the snazzy kit and the footballing stars, and it stuck, and there were no Welsh teams or stars of note during that impressionable age.
Cant really knock him for sticking with his childhood convictions eh? The poor f*cker.
