Re: HO HO HO. MAAAAARY XMAS
New Years Day is my favourite.
New year begins. Hair of the dog first and a nice brunch, out for a walk, head for the pub on the way back - see absolutely everybody, pub quiz, live music, drink steadily all afternoon but not over the top, staying merry. Home or round to friends for some supper and night cap and more fun.
Potentially a great day (and usually is) that has no pressure to 'get it right' or run around entertaining, nor conform to expectations etc.
I wont be working on the 2nd ;)
Re: HO HO HO. MAAAAARY XMAS
Last Christmas my wife bought our four year old grandson a jigsaw to keep him occupied while we went to the pub. However, when we returned we found that he had managed to plug it in and cut several of his fingers off.

Had my works do on Thursday.
My birthday on Monday so the Missus is treating me to Sunday dinner tomorrow and then a night in a hotel Monday, got a pass to watch the City on telly too.
Finish work on the 21st and off all the way until the 8th Jan.
No kids for me so probably spend my time in the Rompney.

I used to love pre-christmas in town. Banged a girl that worked in a shoe-shop in the toilets at the Philly once.
Good times.

Re: HO HO HO. MAAAAARY XMAS
The shoe shop was in an arcade (not Buzz & C0) Had a little chat with her in the morning as I was shopping and asked to meet me for "a drink" after work. She had a boyfriend too. Naughty girl.

Been watching football since I woke up. After it's over, American football is on for about 9 hours. Going to make myself a cocktail soon. Loves it!
