Agreed - have you seen the prices at CCS?
Get pissed before going to the ground, it's guaranteed satisfaction :-
a) Get drunk at less cost.
b) Win, alcohol means you view it was the greatest performance ever even if it was a dull 1-0 with the winner being an own goal off the keeper's arse.
c) Draw or lose, dammit we were robbed by those cheating Saes / referees

Did I say they were brave? Obviously it’s the same vice versa.

I have seen people drinking in the concourse watching the game on the tvs on many an occasion. If we allowed drinking during the game our fans would be drinking all game.
Re: Programme on drinking at rugby
Let's be honest if we could drink in the stands at football it would be exactly the same as rugby

In these days of equality, if a woman punches a man he should give her equal rights, and lefts.

Women are lethal in drink. ! If a pi$$ed up woman goes to hit you, or throws a drink over you, you are knackered, as you can't strike back.
You definitely can.

I'm glad we can't, and was vehemently against the campaign (yet another petition if I remember rightly) to allow football fans to drink in the stands. I'd get pretty pi55ed off with people going back and fore to get beer during the game. Thinking back to a time before drinking at games was stopped, I don't remember anyone going back and fore for beers then. Maybe because it was terracing it didn't have such an impact.
