Doesn't it say we'll win more games in the Champ. We're going to lose about half of our games, and we can probably write off all hope of a point in about 12 of the 38!

I think you misread what I said.
Re: Stop Fretting about Relegation
I love the Championship. But I also love the Premier League and I wouldn't want to get relegated from any league that we are in.

No one has said people should want to get relegated.

Okok I think I'm starting to understand. We shouldn't want to get relegated. We shouldn't fret about getting relegated. We should not care about the performance of the team?

If we are relegated we shouldn’t see it as the end of the world. We should want to stay up and want to win all our games but we should also try and have a bit of balance and perspective and see that football outside of the premier league isn’t the wasteland the media in this country says it is.
Should I have annotated it? Between some complaining this short article is too long and the people who either don’t or can’t read it it’s exhausting :hehe:
Re: Stop Fretting about Relegation
I guess what I'm trying to say is, I think your article is shit.

I didn’t write it. Why do you think it’s shit?

Because you plagiarised.

****ing hell that's some butchered spelling :hehe:
I've linked the article and it has the name of the author on it so I'm not sure you know the meaning of that word. Also it's about 6 months old so I didn't feel they'd miss out on hits and thought it generate more discussion if I posted it here.
I don't understand why many have seen it as an attack on the club, it isn't saying getting relegated is better just that it isn't the end of the world.

Why are you attacking the club though?

Anyway I lost interest about half way through this conversation. I think that should have been obvious. I will go back to fretting. You go back to not wanting to lose or be relegated but ok to lose and be relegated.
Re: Stop Fretting about Relegation
You learn something new every day :hehe:
I don't get what your point is though, I want us to win every game and stay up and I'll be gutted if we end up back in the championship, but that doesn't mean it should be looked at as being the end of the world because it would still be enjoyable.
I thought it was an interesting article considering our position and a lot of the disucssion of "enjoying the ride" etc since Tuesday.

Anyway it is an interesting article, thanks for sharing!
Re: Stop Fretting about Relegation
I get it. I love the Championship and we've had a real sustained period of comparative success for well over 10 years now. However, I'm just disappointed that in my opinion the club hasn't even tried to set up for a fight this season. I'd like to see Cardiff get bigger and better, but I'm still quite happy with the way the club is now. But there's no reason in terms of facilities, support, catchment etc why we couldn't become an established mid table EPL club

I agree I do think we should have been a bit more ambitious this summer.
Re: Stop Fretting about Relegation
Even though it’s unlikely we’ll stay up, the one thing our squad was probably most credited for last season was achieving the unexpected. So why not at least grant them a postponement before we hoist the white flag?

It's a good article.
You appear to have an irritating habit of telling other posters what they should and shouldn’t like or what their opinions really should be.
