Make that for 6!
Abysmal - 45 - 6 now
Don’t think I’ve seen such a poor batting performance in a test match in a long while, if ever. Of all the dismissals, only Root got a decent ball and you don’t want to block natural attacking instincts but there’s a time to do it.
And so it continues, 1st ball after lunch, 54-7
Could it get worse, oh yes it can! 56-8
eight down
I'd love to here what Boycott is saying about this shower.
There's going to be many a disgruntled Yorkshireman there today.
Not even the chance to get tanked up!
66-9
Nine. That was a funny one. Archer ducked under a ball and it hit his bat which he'd left up in the air
67 all out, embarrassing
67 all out.
112 behind!
Lowest score vs Aus since 1948.
A little over 3 hours ago, England red hot favourites.
..and some think Cardiff City are bad! :hehe:
Australia 10-1
67 :hehe:
Australia should declare now - it would be over by tea
Australia to get 223 all out, you heard it here first
Also no one asked my permission to change the title of this thread
Even a complete collapse you still fancy the Aussies.
I notice that the experts are waxing about the great bowling and poor batting.
If this match was being played at Sophia Gardens, they'd all be citing a poorly prepared pitch!
36-2
I really am struggling to remember a worse England test match batting line up than this one - the term specialist batsman doesn't seem to apply in this country any more.
I find it quite funny that the day England collapses as as badly as they have done today, Lancashire have announced that they will release Haseed Hamed. He looked like an Alistair Cooke or Mike Atherton, someone who could grit it out and stay in to build an innings around but his career has nosedived. It’s a real shame as he’s exactly what England could do with if he’d continued the early promise
