I want to see more kids pushing through as well, but he also has senior players he needs to see more of before deciding who stays and goes.

I've been watching Spence for Barry Town. Don't think he is ready for Championship football based on what I have seen so far.

Probably the most exciting of the youngsters we have is Mayembe. Doesn't feature today but expect he'll have a big future in the game

All I know about him is he's a fullback and ex-Man United youth. That's about it. :hehe:

Who are the youngsters?
Cameron Coxe - Wales under-21 international and right back. One of the most promising players in the Bluebirds academy system, with fans having called for him to play this season
He got a run-out in the 3-0 drubbing by Luton Town earlier this season and, despite being caught out of position on a couple of occasions, largely impressed. He will have been champing at the bit for this opportunity.
Tom Sang - A left back signed by the Bluebirds from the Manchester United academy. The 20-year-old operates on the left-hand side, mainly at left back but can also be deployed on the wing. Has a lovely left foot on him and can whip in a fierce cross.
Sam Bowen - Son of former Bluebirds player Jason. The 18-year-old is a lovely little playmaker who operates in the middle of the park and has a great range of passing and a nice tempo about his game. A silky midfielder who can also put in a tackle.

Clear pen. Smithies unlucky. Shit start. No pace, no real desire as yet.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v CARLISLE UNITED. Match thread
WTF was that? I don't think I've ever seen a softer penalty. Meanwhile Paterson gets a solid kick in the back of his thigh and nothing is given.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v CARLISLE UNITED. Match thread
What about the pelanty we should have had for the assault on Patto?
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v CARLISLE UNITED. Match thread

That wasn't a penalty. Paterson came from behind the player as he swung his leg, Carlisle player couldn't even see him.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v CARLISLE UNITED. Match thread
Ridiculously soft pen, tv replay shows Bamba didn’t touch him whereas Paterson was clearly kicked just before then

Re: CARDIFF CITY v CARLISLE UNITED. Match thread
We’re back up to 50/50 in the possession stats, that’s a plus. Anything else worth shouting about?
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v CARLISLE UNITED. Match thread
Christ, we are shit, pumping aimless balls into the box,not even prepared to play in the final third and attempt to stretch Carlisle.

Philips and Blake currently discussing the lack of ballboys in the stands. Read into that what you will
