I've been doing that a bit lately too. I'll probably head down to the basement at some point this afternoon.

So far I’ve done the Nurburgring, Nordschleife (twice), Spa (twice), Goodwood (loads of times), Silverstone, Snetterton, Bedford, and Rockingham. I’ve also done the Top Gear circuit but that was really dull.
This year I plan to do Thruxton, Castle Combe
and the Brands GP circuit but who knows how likely that is?
Then I should start on the tracks further north.
Nice one.
I always fancied doing something similar, but I don't really have the time anymore, not to mention the money involved. That must cost you a small fortune?
I like watching motor sport and go to Silverstone for the F1 most years. I've bought a ticket for this year but not sure if it will go ahead with the C virus. Spa and Austria on my bucket list too, but hopefully that will be next year.

I have all booked up for Le Mans this year but I think that is going to be money down the drain along with the Euros. :-/
I never really thought about doing the Nordschleife as it was only something that I’d read about but it is actually really easy to do. As is a track day at Spa, both of which are absolutely epic. Seriously.
It all seemed a bit overwhelming to organise initially as I’d not done much before but it is dead easy to do - you just need to get organised but it is well worth it. And it isn’t all boy racers either, so you will not feel left out or intimidated.
Do it, or you will regret NOT doing it! Honestly, there are all sorts of people and machinery there.
If you want to PM me I’ll tell you how I organised it all. It is really very simple :-)

Used to spend alot of time at Thruxton track when i worked for the MOD, close enough to have a skive for the afternoon and then get back to work for overtime in the evening :hehe::hehe::hehe: used to know a guy who helped run it, i would do laps in my combo works van :hehe::hehe:

Watching City: that's gone
Travel: Three trips abroad have had to be abandoned with a fourth one (to Azerbaihjan for the Euros) to follow.
Three different language classes: they have been suspended
The gym: That's closed
Group walks: they will be stopped
They will be replaced by:
Helping elderly and vulnerable neighbours
Gardening
DIY
Walking solo or with a friend at a suitable distance
Cycling
Languages, self-tuition
Converting my wee beach bar at the foot of my garden to the mini-est of gyms
Listening to Organ Morgan's rendition of 'Reasons To Be Cheerful'

Used to fish the ogmore and various local rivers under ogmore angling association
Used to walk to bus stop after school down newcastle hill and over the old stone bridge by the old embassy cinema .......I would stop to see the posters outside the embassy for films , I remember the one for jaws would draw me in ......then walk back to the cobbled stone bridge where I would watch brownies feeding on flies , sometimes staying too long and missing the bus home
I love brownies , such aggressive fighting fish and the take on the fly is so exciting . I also enjoy spinning and worming but prefer spinning as I prefer to return all fish I catch and worming leads to deep hooked fish .
The trouble with trout fishing is the season is so short that's why I got into sea and coarse fishing so I could enjoy my hobby all year round . But these days a knackered ankle means sea fishing is too tough on the body so I have sold all my sea tackle and just trout and coarse fish instead
I fish the thaw in the vale of glamorgan , the ewenny is a nice little wild brown trout river close by , have thought of joining pencoed anglers
Take care spedger
