Agree about the Caravan. I think it's lifestyle for some, not the weather, some people just love sitting in a tin and watching third rate entertainment in the club. Sounds awful to me. Some people spend the summer at Trecco Bay just staring out of the window of their caravan.

The only thing I've spent money on recently is a couple of cryptic crossword puzzle books as a replacement for those in the newspaper I no longer get !

We've spent £1500 less this last month. Multiply by 52 million adults, that's anything between £50 and £80 billion out of the economy each month. There'll be a tipping point reached - as it's now starting to happen in other countries - when a balance has to be struck ..
