Well my hip is in need of an operation
I need to wait
Its ****ing painful but hey there is a pandemic
Still never mind let's just let some people do what they want , when they want
Feck everyone else , feck the nurses and doctors who have died treating people with this virus , feck the coppers having to deal with the arseholes , feck the carers working for crap wages , feck the porters and cleaners in the hospitals
But if I get it , or my granny ? Well I demand the best treatment and it will be somebody else's fault like the government if granny dies or I am sick for 3 months
It will be everybody else's fault except mine !

I would imagine meeting other blokes up the mountain is great fun but not in this weather
Wrap up warm and wear layers
And be careful out there

The mountain we are meant to be climbing Aberdare or Snakesville as it’s known in these parts is on the other side.
However, I’ve just seen some pics on social media of people who have been out walking today and I’m having second thoughts. Looks like the South Pole out there.

It doesn't look that serious to me, but if people are not allowed to congregate outside like that, it's really not that hard to shut down access to Barry Island.

That was just a snapshot , I think its fair to say that whilst the sun was up this went on all day
So thats several hundred people , at least , in a small area
When we are only supposed to making essential journeys
At a time of lockdown
If fido needs a walk , take him round the block
Don't take him in the car 5 miles to Barry Island
If that's an essential journey then Boris is a socialist

The number of people in hospital in England is now greater than it was during the April peak and we haven't had the impact of Christmas relaxation yet.
The more infectious SARS-CoV2 VOC 202012/01 strain is spreading at a similar rate across the whole UK.
If the virus continues to mutate, it increases the likelihood that current vaccines will not work.
There might be too many rules, and not everyone makes sense, but really important to: i) stay as much as possible within household bubbles, ii) social distance, iii) wear a mask, iv) go outside, v) ensure good ventilation for any inside activity.

You're more likely to pass the virus onto someone walking your dog on the pavement with loads of others. If the Government tells you to stay indoors for all but essential purposes, then fair enough, you can adhere to the rules, but people are exercising their own judgments and deeming that walking in the open, fresh seaside air isn't going to create a risk. There must have been hundreds of separate rules and instructions from Governments. It's been like the effing Oki koki..

Re: Barry Island Very Busy Yesterday , Is Drakeford To Blame For These Idiots Too ?
I must be guilty. I live on a private footpath to the beach and walked down there yesterday and also went to the cash machine. Loads of people around so I did wear a mask but isn't it OK to exercise, while maintaining social distance? The reality is that sometimes it is essential to go out for food, the bank and other things so it doesn't seem that unreasonable for people to exercise at the same time as long as they and you take care.

Thats the worry
We are in dangerous times and people are ......exercising their own judgement ? I beg to differ they are just selfish dopey idiots doing what they want despite the lockdown
Stay at home , protect the NHS , save lives
Unless you are a dozy selfish idiot

Unfortunately I had no choice. An emergency plumber is due to deal with a water leak. Usually it's my boiler that packs in at Christmas but this year I had to switch the water off.
