We could've done with a Royals win there

Re: FA Cup 3rd round thread
Pathetic and deservedly out. This must be the end of Pauno. Two more injuries today. We are a mess on and off the pitch. Injury prone and sicknote players, a clueless manager and owners that are AWOL.
I have supported the club for fifty years and this is the worse result I can remember.

You obviously mean due to fixture congestion but don’t you think a crushing defeat against non leaguers may do greater damage to a club’s morale?

Wow! Wasn't expecting that Pearcey, thought you might slightly pleased with the result to concentrate on the league scrap.

Yes, there is that of course.
Away from home though, in the FA Cup.
Hardly a disgrace.

Mac. We have been a mess for a long time. Sick of the never ending injuries. Sick of the style of play. Sick of Pauno always playing a lone striker which doesn’t work. Sick of the predictable capitulation as we drop deeper and deeper and then concede.
I shall be there on Tuesday night and I expect Pauno to be gone by then. If he isn’t the atmosphere will be toxic.

Oh dear. This does have rather a familiar ring to it on this board mind.

Re: FA Cup 3rd round thread
Switching between Hull v Everton and Swans game.....
Jeepers, such a difference in atmosphere...much as I want to watch Swans lose, I am watching the Hull game!!
-
Re: FA Cup 3rd round thread
FT: Barnsley 5 - 4 Barrow AET
Means we will not be playing Barnsley away on Feb 5th as they will be in FA Cup Rd 4 action.
Of course if we beat Preston Cardiff will also be in Rd 4 action but if we lose tomorrow then we could possibly plav the Cardiff v Derby fixture that was postponed before Christmas as Derby were knocked out of the cup today.

Re: FA Cup 3rd round thread
Chelsea 3-0 up after 20 minutes. This could easily be double figures in no time at all.

Didn't they go 2-0 at home to Bradford a few seasons ago?

Re: FA Cup 3rd round thread
Apparently, Chesterfield have 6,000 fans at Stamford Bridge this evening.
I just looked at their last three home attendances in the National League:
5,273 v Altrincham
8,106 v Halifax
6,328 v Kings Lynn
Fair play, those are very decent crowds.
